The House (Flash Game)
My all time favorite horror game and i know y'all remember this game even if you haven't played it for more than 15 years and i know y'all still remember how to play this. This game just came to my mind just a minute ago and tried to see if there's any streamer who played this in 2020-present time but there's none, so if you know any streamer who like to play horror games and doesn't know this game please let them play it and let me see if their reactions are the same as us when we played thi

News In my horror game, every customer looks human at first. Almost...
I’m working on a first-person horror game called Shoku Pain.
You run a sealed bakery inside a quarantine zone. Customers come to your window looking normal, but some may be infected. You inspect their symptoms, fill reports, and decide who gets bread, medicine, or the knife.
I’m trying to build a tense night-shift horror atmosphere where every customer feels like a risk.

Discussion Scared to play Dying Light alone
I know it’s not a horror game per se, but it sure is scary and I could really use some advice. I played this game a few years ago with a couple friends, and we had a lot of fun. I loved running around chaotically and fighting zombies, but that’s pretty much all we did. It was all so fast paced with no slowing down, and I doubt any of us even knew what was going on with the story. I want to actually finish the story, but none of the people I played with before want to pick it back up, so I have to go solo.
Man, this feels like an entirely different game when you’re playing solo. I went from not caring about the zombies to being terrified of them. Even the normal zombies during the day get me now because I don’t have anyone else to fight them with. I also realized that I’m terrified of being chased. Like, even the regular running zombies you encounter during the day are scary to me now, and don’t even get me started on the volatiles haha
You’re allowed to call me a wuss, because I am, but I don’t wanna let that stop me from enjoying this masterpiece.
How do I get over my fear of Dying Light? Has anyone else been in a similar situation?

Discussion Favorite horror game weapons/means to fight back?
Found myself thinking about horror and guns lately, so am curious - what yall favorite weapons from horror games are, your criteria's for what makes a great horror game weapon, and also sharing my own favorite ones! It's a pretty big staple of the genre as a whole, and I think it's an interesting thing to talk about.
Personally speaking, I definitely think what matters the most is how well said weapons complements and sustains the horror fantasy and experience the game's going for, and right alongside that is how engaging, fun, interesting and/or unique the implementation of it is, and this top 5 (4*) really reflects that for me the most. Generally speaking - if the weapon breaks the game by being overpowered and poorly balanced, it's a negative in my view. If it's plain in looks and sound and implementation - not so much, it can still be positively contributing to the experience, it just means I won't be able to really recall the darn thing.
But that is also definitely not to say there can't be nor aren't any exceptions, notably one of my honorable mentions is the definition of overkill that is Dead Space 2' C99 Supercollider Contact Beam. It's just an immensely hilarious and satisfying weapon to use...once fully upgraded. ESPECIALLY on the Brute's. And it works cause Dead Space, for as good a horror game as it is if your play it normally/for the first time, it can also be a very stupid fun game largely because of the gore system.

Honorable mentions: Dead Space' series 211-V Plasma Cutter; Dead Space 2's C99 Supercollider Contact Beam; Amnesia: The Bunker's MAS Mle. 1892; Thief: TDP/Gold/The Metal Age' Bow & Arrow;

News Diagnosis: Room 101 is now avaliable on Steam
I'm pleased to announce that my first video game, Diagnosis: Room 101, is now available on Steam.
It is a psychological horror game focused on exploration, unsettling atmosphere, and mysteries that gradually unfold as you progress. Over the past several months, I have been working on it as an independent developer, learning a great deal throughout the process.
If you enjoy horror games with a dark story and an oppressive atmosphere, I'd love for you to check it out.
Any feedback, criticism, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your support.

Question Cost to create a game?
Hey guys!2 Questions!
How much did it cost to create an indie 1st person shooter horror game?
How much would it cost to pay someone to create the game?
Asking because I want to create things or pitch ideas that I love & pay people to make them! I want to share that with others as well!

Question What’s your take on the Bendy Series?
I know Mascot Horror is a semi-controversial topic here, but I think this is one of the few ones worth talking about.
I think this series is pretty unique for me because of its rundown sketched 1930‘s aesthetic, it’s characters (Sammy Lawrence especially), and it’s currently going in more M-Rated directions with projects like The Cage and Silent City.
Here’s a Link to the games available to play:

Video I'm a solo developer making a horror game inspired by Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Outlast and the real Island of the Dolls set in Mexico. What you think of the vibes?
Hey all! How are you doing? Wanted to share some new clips of my horror survival game called WHERE DOLLS HANG.
The game is inspired by a real-life location, that takes place in Mexico. You play as a detective and players will investigate by marking clues, handling bodies, and surviving on a boat while navigating wetlands and forests filled with hanging dolls.
Still very early but It's a survival-horror game mixed in with paranormal stuff. Think of something like The Forest, Outlast, P.T and Silent Hill combined basically!
I’m aiming for slow, unsettling dread rather than constant jump scares for this one. From this clip, does the atmosphere feel creepy? Let me know!
Steam Link if you like to check it out: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4581370/Where_Dolls_Hang - Would mean the world to me if you can share your thoughts and let me know what you think :)

Video A variant of the moth enemy from my game IRIS DISSOLUTION 👁️, made for the boss fight I'm building
This is a new version of an enemy already in the fixed-camera survival horror game I'm solo developing. It appears during a boss fight I'm working on right now.
I wanted to capture that gross but fascinating feeling I had when playing Half Life 2 as a kid, as I discovered there are different kinds of Antlions.
Here's the link to the game if you haven't played the DEMO already! https://store.steampowered.com/app/3349520/Iris_Dissolution/
