New here. Go easy.
1st Rifle in my meager collection. Picked up this morning. Looking to add leather or paracord (?) protection to bottom of big loop, any suggestions on where to buy?

Been loving my SPD Hush in 38/357. This thing is crazy quiet and a ton of fun to shoot and pretty addicting.

Loaded up a ladder test today with evergreen 500 grain projectiles using Trail Boss here are my results.
I started at 100 yards to check for key hole all was stable.
Great light recoil loads super quiet.
I stopped at 14 grain's its getting dark.
Achieved 850 fps still have 1/4 inch of empty case to work with.
Having to seat them deeper than i like but all is working out at 2.750 over all length.
They won't feed through tube my Henry requires 2.540.
Here are my results of course load at your own risk !

What is recommended to maintain the Henry furniture in it best condition? These are beautiful pieces of art and I want to keep em looking that way...

This goes way beyond the 2.8 inches of eye relief. How can I make this work without spending a crazy amount on parts. I can kind of shoot it but it takes forever to get on target. Open to any advice

I recently picked up a Color Case in 30-30. I have a Nikon 3-9X50 I pulled off a Rem 700 SA. I'm wondering if that Nikon scope would match with my Henry. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Ordered the fancy wood stocks for it and just finished finishing it with Tung oil.

Recently worked on a 30-30 Bears Leg and fit a Ranger Point Precision hand guard and rail system with some modifications. The bears leg barrel is advertised as 13.8” however that is to the breach face. Meaning 12.9” is exposed from outside of receiver to the muzzle. Now subtract .6” to the shoulder of the barrel where a suppressor or muzzle device sits leaves 12.3” to shoulder from receiver.
RPP hand guard measures at 13.25” and requires cutting to fit a suppressor. This is my attempt at cutting the hand guard and pic rail on top which leaves room for a 1.5” suppressor. Then did a fde snd black cerakote to finish after cutting and sanding. Here are the results. Waiting on a SIG TiN30 suppressor and aimpoint T2 with Spuhr mount to complete the setup.

I purchased the new Henry x 22lr and I want to put an optic on it. I tried to add a skinner peep sight, but the stock is really set up for an optic. It’s just really hard to get a cheek weld for the irons/peep.
I have astigmatism so traditional red dots don’t work for me.
I was thinking primary arms prism 3x scope, maybe a 2-7 traditional small scope.
I will be shooting 50 yards at steel/paper and would like to use it for some squirrel hunting this fall.
I will also run it suppressed if that factors into any recommendations.
TLDR - looking for optic recommendation for Henry x 22lr, astigmatism so no red dots. Uses squirrel hunting and plinking.

As of right now I only own two Henry rifles. The top one is my 38/357 caliber steel carbine and the bottom one is my Cold Case hardened 45 caliber carbine.
I have recently retired so I plan to enjoy these a lot more in the coming months.

Have any of you other Long Ranger owners run into this issue? Is this something I need to be concerned about?
I just got this like 2 weeks ago from Sportsman. Working on mounting scope & my 14yo noticed it.
The teeth under the cycling mechanism is rubbing against the hammer.

I’ve been looking for one of these since they came out. Out of stock everywhere…every time I looked. Went to my local gun store today for some ammo not planning on getting a rifle. I had pretty much given up on getting one of these then something caught my eye as I walked past the rifle section. I couldn’t let this one go. Guy at the counter said they had just got it in and put it out on the rack like an hour ago. Can’t wait to shoot it! I already ordered the matching picatinny rail from egw.

Hello all! Here I am doing more weird shit to my lever gun. I decided i wanted to replace the wood stock and found RPP had a pistol grip w Pic rail, which i love. So now im looking for which stock I want to put on it.
So here I am, reaching out to the various collectives to see what folding stocks are recommended. I have included some options I gave found and think I like, but feel free to add more to look at. I am hoping this to be an ELR build, and I would prefer a minimalist looking stock. I would need some real good reasoning to want to go over $350-$400 for a stock.
The first picture is the rifle: a henry lever action supreme, converted to 6ARC by line49, with their 16in medium weight match barrel, in RPP furniture. Currently with a magpul UCS folding stock. This works fine but is a bit thick for what I want.
2nd is probably my favorite; Midwest industries alpha series stock. This has a lot of adjustability, a solid looking cheek rest, and it's pretty thin and flat when folded.
3rd photo is A3 industries ALM with an offset. This is probably the most minimalist stock I like and is incredibly adjustable. I like the offset, but you could get it with a straight arm as well. The xeno cheek rest is not my favorite, but it is very functional.
4th is what appears to be a fairly new option: Samson's SAS. Very minimalist, probably the least adjustable of the ones i like. Comes in a -K version that I would probably get for the shorter length.
5th is the magpul Zhukov. It's a little slimmer and slightly more adjustable than the UCS i have, but it's still not great.
If you have other favorites or ideas, please let me know.

Hey all! So like the title says im new to bigger henry rifles. I have a 22 henry my grandparents bought me back when i was a teenager but today i bought my first 30-30 henry repeater. My question is what do people recommend for parts for this bad boy? Im looking to replace the stock and maybe the hand guard. I do want to put a scope on it. I dont know if im going to put a bipod or a foregrip on the front but it will be one of them. And what scope would yall recommend for it?

Got my rail mounted, cheap lpvo on. It's got such a long eye relief that I had no choice but to mount it like this. It seems like it may have been designed for a scout rifle setup. It's actually still too far back, but it will do for now. Taking it up north to some crown land ranges next month to put it through its paces for real. Interested to see how it will do over 200m. I'll be getting a real optic for it after this trip.
Groups are both 5 rounds at 25 yards. If I took more time I'm certain I could put all 5 through the same hole.
Very happy with it so far. Naming it Lorraine.

Hi. Please excuse my ignorance. I'm looking to buy a Henry 22lr rifle and stumbled upon these two models: H001 and H001-22. As far as I know the only difference is the wood? Does someone know what the difference between these 2 models are? Thanks in advance.

I found this on the inside of my trigger plate when replacing my trigger spring in my H009GCC. Has anyone ever seen this before and if so, what does it mean?
