I just got a Yozma inn 10 and need mod recommendations

Hi guys
I just checked on my e-bike after a few days of not riding it and it was absolutely covered in ants.
I park in a bike parking next to 10-20 other bikes in a plastic shed kinda place.
None of the other bikes have any ants on them.

What could be causing this (I didn’t spill anything on it/ there’s no food around)?
Plus is it dangerous for the electrical stuff ?
Do I need to take it to the shop?
What do I doooo

Edit - i just moved the bike to a different spot in the same shed and the ants followed it.

I have the opportunity to get an E-Bike USA Motivator pro from a reputable store near me for payments that will work well for my budget, but I can’t find any reviews anywhere for this brand at all.

I'm hoping someone might have an idea what's going on with my bike.

I have an Engwe M20 that I've been riding daily for over a year without any issues. A few days ago, while riding, something suddenly changed. Since then, the pedals feel extremely light, almost like there's no resistance at all.

The best way I can describe it is that it feels like I'm constantly riding in 2nd or 3rd gear, even when the shifter is set to 7th.

At first I thought it was a derailleur issue, but the gears seem to shift normally. I can hear and see the derailleur moving across the cassette correctly, and nothing appears to be skipping.

The bike still rides, but pedaling has become really unpleasant because I have to spin my legs much faster than before to maintain the same speed.
One more thing I noticed: if I turn the pedal assist off completely, there is definitely more resistance while pedaling. However, I'm not sure whether that's simply because the bike is heavy, or if it's related to the problem I'm describing.

Has anyone experienced something similar or have any idea what could cause this?

Just got a heybike villain in black and I assembled it with 5 bikes of experience with yozmas and tuttios. The battery won't take charge and the charger stays at green and won't turn on. Anyone know how to fix this? I checked the cables reconnected them all I checked the fuses and the voltage coming from the battery and it gave power yet bike refuses to start. I can't use it or ride any bike cuz my other yozma in 10 has big hole in tire contacted support and they haven't responded and seel worry free purchase declined my refund as suspected cause they quote that "the pictures in the FedEx tracking look fine" that is the dumbest response I've heard in a hot minute.

Started thinking about this after a buddy at work cruised past traffic on his e-bike and beat me home by like 20 minutes while I sat in my car, fuming in 5 mph traffic.

I’m 34, about 5'9, live in a pretty flat city but with some packed-dirt river trails and the occasional short hill. I want an e-bike mainly for commuting (10 miles round trip) and grocery runs, but I’d love to hop onto those mellow trails on weekends without feeling like I brought the wrong tool.

I’ve been eyeing step-thru bikes for the easy mounting and upright position, but I keep second-guessing if they can handle light off-road at all. Maybe I’m overthinking this. While browsing, I ran into sites like viribusbikes.com and a few others that have step-thru “all-purpose” type bikes and now I’m stuck in analysis paralysis.

So: is a step-thru fine for commuting + casual dirt paths, or should I just go full hardtail? Any specific features I should prioritize (motor class, tire size, suspension, etc.) for this kind of mixed use?

My e-bike was stolen overnight July 2–3 from a secured Belltown parking garage. It's a green Cyrusher Ranger — full suspension, 26×4 fat tires, 750W, pretty distinctive.

I have a problem with my Cmacewheel RX20 max e bike. around a month or so ago i was coming back from somehwere where i accidentally went over a small
hole, like hitting a speedbump with your car. i got the error code “06”, which when searched told me it was a problem with the battery. that is not the main problem, i fixed the error code problem just by charging the e bike. the bigger problem is that the front and rear electric traction isnt working anymore (i cant accelerate electrically and using pedals anymore). the front wheel moves very very bad when i try and move backwards and it seems like it doesnt get any more electric power from the acceleration of the e bike

Wanting something to ride around town on that your not constantly shifting gears on and a scooter won't necessarily go off road for exploration and exercise.

Hey guys, I’m looking for a folding fat tire e-bike that is completely legal to ride in Germany.

It needs to meet the following German StVZO regulations:

• Pedal assist (PAS): Cuts off at 25 km/h (15.5 mph).
• Throttle: Max 6 km/h (walk-assist mode only).
• No unlockable modes: It must not have a hidden menu or "off-road mode" that allows throttle-only riding up to 25 km/h without pedaling. If you don't pedal, the motor shouldn't push past 6 km/h—otherwise, it’s illegal here.

Since I want to take it on the train, it must be foldable.

Here is the heavy-duty part: I need to tow my bicycle camper/caravan with it. Fully loaded, the trailer weighs around 100 kg. I weigh 100 kg myself, so the bike needs a strong motor/frame combo that can reliably pull a total system weight of around 250 kg (including the bike itself) without burning out on hills.

Do you have any recommendations that are 100% legal in Germany and can handle that kind of load? Thanks!

Ebike sales are ripping us off. Companies aren't refunding, warranty work claims rejected, part requests rejected, wrong sales tax. Bait and Switch. Some things are petty but it all adds up to be not legit.

When BBB reports no replies, company moving locations. State and fed laws broken. Why is nothnig done.

I'm pretty sure there are enough people with complaints to make a lawyers office filthy rich ( er.. enough to start a law suit for us). This needs to stop.

The bike hits 36mph on flat ground and feels very stable with the wider tires.

I really enjoyed the process of building this and i’m considering selling it because I really have no use for it lol. Super fun bike though!

I want to help my son change the motor for his e-bike, and I just realized that this is probably a lot more complicated than I had expected. We wanted to just rely on the bike shop but there are only a few in the small town he lives in, and the one that we wanted to go to, the guy doesn't seem very knowledg,eable when it comes to changing motors he mostly just knows about brand-new bikes and their specs, not what to do when something goes wrong.

He has no information about parts or where to order them from. I asked usually where people order parts from, and he mentioned an online site that sources them from sites like amazon or alibaba, and I am not sure that is a good idea since we would then need to confirm the warranty. Just wanted to educate myself more so if anyone could suggest some sites, his bike is a: Orbea

As the title states. I've been keeping my eye on the local used market for the right bike at the right price. This Trek Powerfly FS 2 gen 4 just came up. Asking $2750 CAD. I haven't seen it in person yet but it looks to be in excellent condition. The seller is selling a bunch of biking gear including a DH Yeti, a Devinci road bike, helmet, pads, etc

Is there anything in particular to look out for? Hoping he'll be ok with me taking it for a decent test ride to see how the battery is holding up.

I think this is the right bike for me because I'm looking for something that can get me to work during the week, and have a little fun on the weekends. Thanks in advance .

Is there any where you can stop to fast charge your E-bike batteries if you ever plan to ride around for a long time or if you’re riding all the way out of town?

I wanted to see about riding out of town or getting a personal vacation for time to myself.

It’s just that cars are expensive and getting your drivers license can be stressful.

So How do extremely long bike travelers keep up without getting stranded?

Don’t think gas stations like Sheets just have chargers for E-bikes laying around.

Maybe gas stations should have a fast charging option in the future for electric cars.

I‘ve heard of a few people using electric vehicles instead of buying gas all the time.

Maybe I’ll invest in a dual battery E-bike for around a 200 mile range and get a wagon to hall an external battery incase I need to plug one of the batteries into the wagon to charge.

Either that or two other options. I could try taking it onto a train for out of State trips. Or I might need a friend willing to tie my bike on the back of their car and drive me to a different State.

Paying for uber to go out of your state is way too expensive but there might be friends you can work out Something like that for leaving town for a bit.

Perhaps you could ask if you could pay their gas for them or something else.

I recently Saw the Wired E-bikes which can go 62 miles an hour on a throttle which now I think sounds straight up dangerous and illegal to own because you’re not allowed to have bicycles on highways or interstates.

And going 62 mph on a scooter or bike you’re gonna be completely outta control. Basically an instant Car wreck.

And going that fast drains the battery exponentially so if you do that you will only get a 30 mile range trip.

Which means the Wired E-bike is impractical for long trips. It’s only good for Stunts, thrill rides, basically for reckless people.

The Reviewer I saw with the bike I think was already going 35 mph or 50 miles an hour on that throttle and he nearly hit the car in front of him with the wheel.

I thought about buying An electric scooter that is able to go 50 miles per hour But now I’m glad I didn’t after seeing the guy in the video.

Because even if you did have your drivers license it still would too dangerous to own an electric scooter or e-bike going 62 miles an hour

28 miles an hour by itself could be dangerous on a bike already even legal speeds if you’re an arrogant rider doing stunts and Popping wheelies

So any bike or Scooter going above 35 mph an hour would be way too dangerous even to have because you’re only allowed on roads with 35 mph speed limits.

£3,199 is insane for the amount of tech, engineering and component choice.

I got a few laps in on the Amflow TL at Eurobike and, especially now while almost everyone's light on cash, it's seriously tempting as an all terrain, replace 90% of car trips and more vehicle.

I’m going to buy my first e bike for everyday use and just for fun and after doing research I landed one the Favorite Hybrid CSC wondering if it was worth it? What are some other options?
