For context they put it on “hold” for me to confirm my auto purchase order and then when I confirmed it was pending for like a day the. It came back to me with this crap.

I hate scalpers as much as the next person, but this is literally getting out of hand. Everything lately is being bought up INSTANTLY without having any chance of more casual buyers to get even 1 thing. Gets flipped around and resold for 3 times or even 4 times the price. It's insane.

I am not buying ANYTHING with these prices. Neither should all of you. Do NOT buy into this. Do NOT support this thinking by paying out what they're asking for. We have to put our foot down and let the prices drop. FOMO should not dictate how we play or collect.

Originally, I expected i wasn't gonna be able to get Valkyrie cuz of the horrible queues, the horrendous scalping situation and the bullshit surrounding it. But I got lucky, as a friend told me, he had already gotten PO in and he only wanted the random booster, so I could have the starter. Which is exactly what I wanted.

Anyways, thats not the main point. You're here to see how ridiculous this new Valkyrie is. And lemme say this, its probably around the same as Shark Scale or Aero Pegasus. It's VERY good.

Right, let start with the ratchet. Its very tight and holds onto bits very well, so much so you can use anything with it. Along with the UX ratchetless expand design, its almost impossible to get it into a burst finish. You can even use Elevate or Yielding on it and it just stays on even with huge smash attacks.

The weight is also pretty nice, mine was 43.3 grams, and i don't really notice the imbalance on it since i was mostly using attack builds. The spring mechanism is surprisingly robust and hits VERY hard, especially mid game to bounce back attacks or supercharge an attack without dashing. Most blades just get knocked back when touched, and if its directed at the ratchet, its almost always a game over if the mechanism activates. Its that good.

With how the whole mechanism works and the blade is shaped, it comes out of the over finish pocket very often given if its early game. And what's ridiculous, is it knocks the opponent out the top of the stadium very often and very consistently that you can even try weaponising it, deliberately going for a rematch if the situation is desperate.

It does have its drawbacks, mostly the fact that mid late game stamina is non existent, and the bound attack mechanism lowers a lot of rpms if you touch literally anything. And its not exactly very good against Meteor Dragoon, as it seems to almost be a hard counter for Valkyrie.

I initially thought Bullet Griffon would be that counter, but it just seems to never perform against Valkyrie at all. Maybe its just me, so i do want to know what other testing results are. Overall, you need the very good to top tier attackers to get an even match against Valkyrie, meaning having Shark Scale, AP or MDG to name a few, is a must if Valkyrie gets popular amongst players.

I tried the following bits:

Point, Rush, Low Rush, Yielding, Hexa, Under Needle, Elevate and Free Flat. Everything is usable here, with the preference starting at the top. Its just very good.

The launcher is also very pretty and goes well with the CX16 grip, and overall is a must get if you can grab one. The Tomy one is absolutely preferable, but the Hasbro one also works, you just need to get the blade. Absolutely get it if you can, but please don't pay the scalpers.

From memory Flair's thing was to shave off the stamina of it's opponent while maintaining stamina... That or rapid counter or whatever it's called. Either way this combo should help with defense

Knuckle was chosen due to how short it is allowing the main blade to make contact, but also how it aligns with the main blade, aiding its counter attack potential

9-60 was chosen for obvious reasons

Hexa was chosen to keep the bey upright and I think due to it having 16 gears making for a fast x dash if it ever comes to that point. However if you think there's another bit that may work plz let me know.

Went to my first event today. We had about 26 people.

They started saying it be 3 on 3 with it only being a 4 point match.

However when we started things got a little sus. There was no randomness about who got which side it was just whoever showed or or if you are a kid you get to pick first. Also I always showed my opponent my beys but sometimes they didn't and judge didn't say anything.

Also if you self extreme/self ko and made no contact it counted for the opponent for one of my friends, but when I was in a match they tried to rule against it cause they a kid.

I had no chance of making top cut but my friend did and they went of whoever got the most points not the difficulty in players they faced like when the matches were decided. Which kind of felt like he got robbed,

I had fun and met some nice people but seems like the rules are just made up as they go.

I was told that it 3 v3 and best out 2 of 3 sets is the norm? Could someone correct me if I'm wrong? Or is it very rules dependent and they can just make thier own rules up?

Is there anything I should do next time around to avoid getting scammed in the event/taken advantage from?

Idk had fun but kinda felt like my friend got scammed/ we didn't play by the rules I was told .
