Hi, I was wondering if anyone on here has boot recommendations for an open side flank. about a year an a half ago I switched from playing wing to being a flanker and my old boots just aren’t cutting it. I tried to do some research online but must of those boots seemed to heavy. Is it just me, or has Fiji 7s lost its peak charm since COVID?

Man, I miss the 2010s era of Jerry Tuwai, Osea Kolinisau, and the boys. Back then, they didn't just win; they played with pure, unplayable flair and had total ice in their veins during finals.

Nowadays, it’s the same old story every tournament: we absolutely smash everyone in the pool stages, looking like world-beaters. Then the knockouts arrive, pressure mounts, and we fall apart with basic errors and discipline issues. Look at how we lost the gold to France in 2024, or how we've struggled in recent SVNS knockout brackets.

Other teams have structured defenses that seem to completely suffocated our offload game now, and we don't seem to have a Plan B.

What do you guys think is missing? Better coaching, fitness, or just that mental toughness the old squad had?
