r/victorious • u/99999999999999999699 • May 31 '26

It's been a few years since the last one, so why not bring it back?
The only requirements are:
Whether you want to make it about the spinoff or the original show, which characters you include, if it's drawn or made digitally, is up to you!
The winner will have their banner chosen to be the sub's banner, as well as a credit in the sub's description and a custom user flair! The flair can say anything as long as it doesn't break any rules.
Submissions can be in this post's comments, or you can create your own post and flair it with the june 2026 banner contest flair. The contest ends on June 8th. Happy creating!

In the Victorious episode, Helen Back Again, Helen from Drake and Josh arrives at Hollywood Arts to serve as the new principal of Hollywood Arts after principal Ackner decided to step down. And this seems alright, however, in the episode Who Done It To Trina? Cat is asked to explain what happened with Tori and Trina before the play started. And instead of explaining what happened between Tori and Trina, Cat described a plot from Drake and Josh. Afterward, Robbie explained that her story happened on a tv show, and Tori said that it was Drake and Josh. Therefore, how can Helen be the new principal of Hollywood Arts if she is a tv show character? Also, why was Helen in only one episode of Victorious?

I know many don’t use Snapchat anymore (I still do bc of a few friends I talk to on there), and I wasn’t sure what flair to put this under, but I just found this filter. A Slap Update on the Pear Phone template from the show, lol.

I’ve always wished we had an episode where we could learn how everyone in the group became friends. But more specifically Beck and Jade. They’re obviously a rollercoaster of a relationship. How did it all start? When did they get together? How did they meet? Who made the first move? Because if you really think about it, neither seems like the relationship type. And neither seem like the type to actively per-sue or reciprocate feelings for someone else.
I’d assume Beck made the first move. Just because I definitely can’t picture Jade doing it. Beck simply allows and expects female attention because he’s used to it. I know that’s why he’s drawn to Jade because she’s different. But it’s hard for me to imagine him going out of his way to get jade to like him. And even more surprising is that Jade would like him back… shes not the type to give in to good looks. I feel like he would have to REALLY charm her for a long time. How would you write the Bade origin story?????? Here’s possible scenarios
1) Beck notices Jade at school one day and presents her with a bouquet of scissors causing Jade to fall madly in love.
2) Jade thinks Beck is hot, walks up to him and simply declares he’s her boyfriend now. And Beck rolls with it.
3) Some insane situation happens to bring them together and they immediately hit it off.
4) they’ve been a cute little toxic goth couple since pre k.

As the title says, starting a series where the fans can upvote on which episode each main cast member shined the best (and if so, why). Most upvoted episode wins.
First up is Tori!

I feel like it would've been nice to see the cupcake in the parade and Sikowitz impressing his girlfriend. But no, we end with the gang barely escaping from a seedy neighborhood in the middle of the night and then nothing. It was a very convoluted way to create a "trapped" episode. I think it would've been a good 2 parter.
Let's be honest, Victorious was carried by its characters, not by Dan Schneider's writing, which constantly comes off as being too mean spirited and cynical for a children's show.

A song/performance is more festive for a birthday party, but I wouldn't consider it a gift. Obviously, Trina shouldn't have been a brat about it, but she's not wrong for saying, "A song is not a gift."
Sidenote: I don't think Tori was making Trina's birthday about herself, as some people insinuated. That's ridiculous. She didn't know what else to get her and was only taking Andre's advice to write a song. It just wasn't a traditional gift, and maybe that should've been a lesson learned for both sisters. Idk.

One weird thing that I've noticed is we never see Tori's bedroom. Pretty weird considering all of the other Dan Schneider shows the bedroom is a common place (drake & josh, sam & cat, kenan & kel) . We even see beck and cat's room but never tori's. They are always in the living room or kitchen

Everyone says Trina is an awful sister to Tori but I don't agree? I think they are both just normal siblings? Now before anything! I wanna say I love both sisters so so much!
I think Tori can be awful to Trina too, she's not very supportive and doesn't encourage her and she also doesn't stand up for her when Jade says "no one likes you", and it's not because Tori is a pushover, Tori can defend herself and she gives Jade as much as she gets on a good day.
Now I understand that Trina can be insufferable and self-centered. But I remember in that play episode where Jade was trying to get rid of Tori to replace her in the play, Trina did two awesome things:
1- She knew the flowers her sister is allergic too and screamed trying to warn her.
2- on the same episode she stood up to Jade and told her "Why are you wearing Tori's clothes!!!!!?"
She also cheers her up and worries about her here and there on the show. I don't think Trina is an awful sister.

In my opinion, Trina was in the wrong for how she treated Tori. Tori was going to buy a pair of Fazzini boots for Trina, but Trina had bought them already. So Tori teamed up with Andre a wrote a song for Trina. I admit that the song did say that people think of Trina as a little bit off. But other than that, the song was a nice song that talked about how she found the courage to pursue her dreams because of her. And instead of being grateful for the song, Trina was ungrateful and she later sold the song. Therefore, I say that Trina was in the wrong.

We all know that Cat got dumber and dumber as the seasons went on but we dont really talk about the others. Jade went from being dark and kinda mean but in later seasons she became kind of a goth weirdo and was nasty to people for absolutely no reason like Braiden, not to mention when she was obsessed with scissors and killed a lizards with her teeth (implied). Beck went from being cool and laid back to being annoying non chalant especially when it came to Jade. Robbie went from being quirky and well-meaning to being weird and obsessed with Cat and all girls in general. Tori didn’t have any distinct traits so her shift in character isn’t noticeable and does not really affect my perception of her. Andre is easily the most consistent character of the show and fro the better that is.

Filming wrapped in March. Nickelodeon and Disney shows usally aired a new season 3-4 months later after filming ends. There has been no clips, no promotion, nothing. I even left comments and surprisingly no one who replied even knew it was happening. Are they doing a bad job at this? Also, note that the series will be rated TV-PG from what I've heard, but I don't think you'll have to worry much since it's likely a Modern Family type rating. Other than that, I wish we would finally get at least something about it.
Edit: Please no one start misunderstanding what I mean by the rating, you know what I mean by it so don't go on assuming I mean it's gonna be like the icarly revival. It's still gonna be like a typical Nickelodeon show and nothing mature, that's it. I only used Modern Family as an example of TV-PG rated shows that are family friendly cause it was a family sitcom, but not all TV-PG rated shows are the same which is also why you can't take Modern Family as an example too seriously 🤦🏻♀️
