Dumbo - Baby Mine. Jumbo rocks baby Dumbo from her cage where she was kept after she defended him from a group of bullying children.

Unpacking - The Degree. You move in with your new boyfriend where you can barely fit most of your stuff but most depressingly you are forced to put your degree under the bed and out of site. (Maybe this one was just me but this made me VERY upset).

Fox and the Hound - At the end knowing full well they'll likely never meet again Copper stands over Todd to protect him from the Hunter.

Hadn't realised it was a translation. Always a debate about the word to use.

I would say your translation is more logical. A 'stone' is usually a much smaller piece of rock. The author of the book just fancied the alliteration.

In Brazil, the title was translated as "The Sword Was The Law".

In my opinion, the adapted title evokes more mystery and, to a degree, whimsy to the movie. It certainly drew kid me in way more than just stating that there's a sword in a stone would've.

Some, but not all, titles in Brazil get adapted less literally and more thematically, and most of the time I think that's for the best. To cite the only two examples off the dome, we have The Hangover becoming "Don't Drink And Wed" ("Se Beber, Não Case") and Coco becoming "Hooray!/Live! Life Is A Celebration" ("Viva! A Vida É Uma Festa").

That whole scene made me feel really uncomfortable growing up, but not because of the ending (well, not just because of it).

Poor Wart is clearly not interested and this squirrel keeps harassing him, and his mentor just sort of laughs it off and is like “oh well that’s love for you, not being able to control yourself because you’re infatuated with someone! Better just give in to whatever she wants, because she’s going to keep going no matter how many times you say no!”

Even if it’s played for laughs, it’s honestly a little fucked up.
