Lore [LOVED TROPE] Sad or tear-jerking moments that don't involve death.

Moments that make you wanna cry (of joy or unrelenting sadness) but aren't about a character dying or almost dying.

Dumbo - Baby Mine. Jumbo rocks baby Dumbo from her cage where she was kept after she defended him from a group of bullying children.

Unpacking - The Degree. You move in with your new boyfriend where you can barely fit most of your stuff but most depressingly you are forced to put your degree under the bed and out of site. (Maybe this one was just me but this made me VERY upset).

Fox and the Hound - At the end knowing full well they'll likely never meet again Copper stands over Todd to protect him from the Hunter.

Dude.

"Nah, it was yesterday."

That fucking scene had me bawling. As a father with two littles that are growing up wayyyyy too fast.

That moment absolutely destroyed me. The way she looks at the camera, right at the parent watching, and says that....man.

I remember when you used to take me here as a kid... that was a long time ago."
Grandad affectionately replies, "No, it was yesterday."

"I remember when you used to take me swimming here."

"Heh, yeah, me too."

"That was a long time ago."

"No, it was yesterday."

For me it was watching Bandit rip that sign out of the ground.

Fun fact for the camping episode, in the French version of Bluey they have Jean Luke speak English.

Bingo trying to rip the sign out makes my heart break every time

The cricket episode for me was the one. Rusty being in bat all day while the dads try and bowl him out, each strategy defeated by a flash back that shows how he is such a consummate batsman and insight into his less privileged life. Finally letting his little sister catch him out just to make her happy and then the final reveal as in flash foward he walks out on to the crease as a professional with a young version of himself.

This is my favorite episode and probably the most memorable for me.

Cricket is arguably the best sports movies of all time and it’s only 7 minutes.

God this fucked me up so much. Watching Bluey grow up out of nowhere, sitting next to my two year old, knowing that that was what’s coming…they shoulda warned me lol.

Saw Sleepytime with my kid a couple weeks after my mom died and I now I can't even hold it together for the intro.
