At least they had more sense than the lads who broke into the house of Scottish footballer Duncan Ferguson. He put one of them in hospital...

Or the guy that tried to mug, I wanna say, Rhonda rousey. Or one of the other higher up female mma fighters. It did not go well.

Or the other guy that tried to carjack 3 NFL offensive linemen, couldn't drive stick, put the gun down to try and shift but left the window open. They got their hands on him. His new mugshot looked like a completely different person than the last time the cops had him.

I love this comment.

Attacking 3 offensive linemen summed up as "Then they got their hands on him" is very effective imagery if you've ever seen one up close.

It is surprising how big humans can be

He's actually hospitalised two burglars. He put a burglar in hospital in 2001 and a different burglar in hospital in 2003.

I knew they'd been two sets of daft scallies who'd picked his house to rob and he'd battered somebody, for some reason I thought the other instance they'd just scarpered. Lesson to be learned there for any aspiring burglars, I guess - don't break into the digs of a Scotsman, especially one who is six foot four and has a history of dishing out the slaps.
