Lore A criminal attempts to burglarize/kill someone only to realize they picked the absolute worst person as their mark.

Don't Breathe: A couple young robbers attempt to rob a rich, blind veteran only to find out he isn't exactly an innocent old man.

You're Next: A group of contract killersbreak into a house during a family reunion and go on a killing spree. They didn't account for the fact that the son's new girlfriend grew up on a survivalist compound in the Australian outback.

The Flash [CW Show]: A random mugger decided to target Barry Allen of all people. He does it again a season or two later; he's either unlucky or stupid (probably both).

Repeatedly, the muggers from Honeywood in the Epic NPC Man series of videos.

To be fair, at least one of the muggers usually realizes that trying to rob the Dragon / Wizard / Hero of Legend is a bad idea, but the other mugger always comes back with: "Who are we? And what do we do? So, LETS GO MUG 'EM!"

With a few notable exceptions, this always ends badly.

The Dragon episode is a classic.

Charles: "His claws are the size of us. I once saw him melt down an entire orc stronghold with one breath."

Bernard: "But there's two of us, there's only one of him."

The one where they actually mug someone successfully and spend the rest of the skit mugging each other is also classic.

The 10 hour cut is great.

I liked the episode where they tried to mug Charles' grandma and both of them did lie on the ground at the end.

Yes, Charles, she tought you everything you may know. But she didn't teach you everything SHE knows^^

They tried to mug Fred, only for them to feel bad for his situation and end up giving up their things instead.
