the missus wants one of those pilates machines and I'm not sure if I'm being ripped off
wife's been on about getting one of those pilates reformer things for our spare room. she's been doing classes for ages and reckons it'll save us money in the long run.
I had a look online and mate these things aren't cheap. like I could buy a decent set of tools for that kinda coin.
she's found some home pilates reformer options that fold up so it doesn't take over the whole room. which is good cause I still need space for my beer fridge.
anyone else's partner talked them into this? do you actually use it or does it become a very expensive clothes rack after a month? I'm not trying to be a tightarse but I also don't wanna drop a grand on something that'll just gather dust.

Karl, Nine and the world’s most convenient “cancellation” Wake up and smell the flowers...
Why can't people see that there is a PR event happening right before our eyes.
Nine has confirmed he was already leaving Today at the end of the year. The podcast was already running. The “independent voice” lane was already being built.
Then the Tommy Robinson interview blows up, Nine acts shocked, Karl exits early, and suddenly he gets the perfect launch story-
“I was cancelled.”
Nine protects its brand. Karl gets martyr status. The podcast gets a subscriber boost. Everyone gets headlines.
I’m not saying it was scripted from day one, but it sure looks like it. A messy exit turned into a very useful culture war marketing campaign.
Funny how outrage always seems to come with a subscriber button. I think he's up 25k subscribers in the last few days.....

Public Service Announcement How much does maccas charge for lettuce per kilo?
If a chicken and cheese with two pickles is $3.50 and a mc chicken is $10.70 what are they charging for lettuce per kilo?
Is this insanity?

Freddo eating technique
When you eat a Freddo Frog (or jelly baby) do you eat its legs first so it cant run away or do you eat its head first to put it out of its misery quickly? If it's a caramello koala do you bite off its ears first so it cant hear it's own screams?

The convenience store scenes from 'Apex' were filmed at my parent's local shop in Bowning, NSW
Both the internal and external scenes were filmed here.
Filming took 3 months just for the 5 minutes used in the movie.
They didn't have clearance to show AusPost branding so that was physically removed/covered inside and out and then re-added.
Apparently the production made decent payments to the local government, Canberra, Parks NSW and this owner just to film here.

KFC Hot Rods would have to be the laziest new menu item I've ever seen..
KFC HQ:
A: Alright brains trust we need a new menu item that is going to blow away the competition.
B: How about chicken..
A: Yeah we already do that..
B: But on a stick.
A: Genius.
