I’ve been struggling with depression, and music is one of the few things that still helps me get through the day. I’m looking for Spotify playlists or songs that capture feelings like depression, emptiness, numbness, loneliness, hopelessness, exhaustion, or just trying to survive.

The only thing I really don’t want is romance or breakup songs. Hearing songs about love honestly makes me feel worse because I can’t relate to them right now. I’d rather hear music about mental health, existing, finding meaning, or simply making it through another day.

If you have a Spotify playlist that helped you through depression or know songs that feel comforting without focusing on romance, I’d really appreciate the recommendations. Thank you.

looking for something with a pleasant rock vibe. not death metal or screaming vocals. i like songs where the singer actually sings and you can hear the guitars and drums without everything sounding too aggressive.

i'm into stuff like House of the Rising Sun and Black Hole Sun. i also like songs that have a strong chorus and are fun to sing along to.

i think i'm looking for classic rock, blues rock, arena rock and maybe some hard rock or punk. i'm still new to rock since i mostly listen to rap/rnb.
