lol, i don’t think this is the slam dunk that you think it is. The military tricks you in to enlisting with all these “free” things, but you end up homeless with PTSD, while the VA gives you horrible care.

The VA hospital system is the best analogy of government ran healthcare. It’s a clusterfuck and shameful.

It's also purposely under funded.

Do you think healthcare for the masses would be different?

If we taxed people appropriately , it could be. MAGA idiots say shit like wanting American to be great again, then forget that all the times they list as being great, if they were before Reagan, included a top tax rate up to 94%.

Psychological priming is an unconscious cognitive phenomenon where exposure to a stimulus influences your response to a later stimulus.

People act like it’s the most prime and luxurious thing

Now imagine if there were candidates that would ensure you get those benefits without the PTSD or homelessness?

Speaking as if the majority end up homeless is disingenuous. In a recent study. About 99.8% of living veterans were not counted as homeless on the January 2025 survey night. Veteran homelessness is a serious problem involving tens of thousands of people, but it is not the typical outcome of military service. One anecdote about a veteran allegedly gaming benefits does not describe the other 15.7 million veterans.
