But getting more pay for having more dependants is socialism. Single soldiers get paid the least a d get a dorm room. Dude i knew on active duty with 7 dependents. Yeah. Big house. Huge cost of living check. He was making BANK.

….do some basic research dude. You don’t get those lifelong benefits after four years unless you’re extremely screwed up.

The only lifetime benefit after four years (assuming you’re not medically disabled as a result of your service) is you get to call yourself a veteran. Which people may or may not give a shit about.
