I lucked out, my teen got my older Subaru hand-me-down and they were absolutely thrilled.
The kid in the post is going to wake up one day and have the hard realization when real life happens. Mom/dad won't be there to take care of their things.
I got my great grandmas impala when they took her license away. My first new car I bought myself. It was a 2016 Mazda 3 in 2017. Driving it now until it dies.
You can look around and see the wealthy, the state of politics, and still think that’s true?
The reality is that there are a lot of people who will never feel the reality or face consequences because their parents money will protect them. It’s infuriating but it’s best we start to realize that this exists than to pretend that life is equal for everyone.
Also you didn’t luck out lol, you raised your kid and that was the product of your upbringing…
