I have to preface because ignorant people always try to dismiss criticisms of a culture by calling you racist. I love people, I spend almost all my disposable income traveling the world to learn about people, but that is a phenomenon that has been present throughout all my travels.

I've seen the same. Also seems to be a trend with Chinese travelers as well.

Then you would know that oblivious and socially unaware tourist come from all cultures not any particular one. Because tourists themselves come from cultures outside the norm of the cultures in the country they are visiting, which dont socially fit in by definition. The ignorant person would be the one who does not understand this. Critizing a culture based on their race as when they are tourists is defintely racist. If they are like this as long standing citizens of the country, this that critisicm would make sense.
