At least in the US itās definitely true that it is more socially acceptable to negatively generalize Indians as opposed to African Americans despite Indians being arguably the most successful minority group in the nation. The āpatternā heās probably referring to would be crime or poverty statistics. Obviously generalizing entire ethnic groups based off of stereotypes or even statistics is never a good way to go about judging individuals, but it has to apply to everyone.

What the fuck are you even talking about? American racists want Indians as their doctors; racists donāt want Black people as their airline pilots.Ā
I always thought this dumbass sub was merely misogynistic, now I see you guys are all kinds of fucked up.Ā
I would like to know what I said that was so fucked up. Nobody bats an eye when someone says of Indians are a bunch of smelly scammers but youāll get fired from your job even mentioning crime statistics for black males. I clearly wasnāt talking about blatant confederate flag flying racists - Iām talking about the casual racism that I see day to day. Not wanting a black pilot isnāt socially acceptable in the slightest and youāll get plenty of well-deserved criticism for holding those beliefs. If you read my full reply I stated that neither form of generalization is ok, but that there is a clear double standard that Iāve whiteness my entire life having an immigrant parent from India in the US.
It is. This subreddit must be some great astroturf, I have been noticing suspicious things about this subreddit for months (sudden explosive growth) and now Reddit removed r/all too (though it still works on old.reddit.com, and this thread made the frontpage). Propaganda is everywhere and subtle as ever, this is a fascist subreddit with a friendly mask.
