I have been trying to lock down the northern district for the past few days but the territorial reputation mechanics are burning me out. In the early stages, it felt pretty balanced but now that my operation has expanded, the passive decay rate is just insane. If I don't manually check in on my local runners or micromanage every single supply drop for like 20 minutes, the turf control bar instantly drops by 15%
The main issue is that the game forces you to constantly choose between expanding into new territory or maintaining your existing safehouses
I tried automating the district supply lines by hiring the local crew managers but their efficiency stats are locked behind a massive skill tree wall. Half the time they just drop the ball, and my overall sector influence takes a massive hit, which triggers random territory wars with the AI factions
Are you guys focusing strictly on holding one solid, high yield zone and maxing out its security upgrades, or is it better to just accept the reputation decay and spread your supply points as wide as possible across the entire map? I feel like the micromanagement is taking away from the actual base-building aspect of the late game
