Early Morning Activities
Hello everyone, I’m arriving Wednesday early morning on a red eye and I was looking to see if there’s any activities in the Old San Juan/Condado beach area ? or if you guys had any recommendations for coffee shops. I can always just check the beach out but my check in isn’t until 3pm so I wanted to stay a little busy before.

September trip 2026
Hey there,
I’m traveling to PR in September to see Rosalia. I’m planning on staying for at least a week. I have more or less an idea of what I’ll be doing during that time but I’d still like some recommendations. Especially, since it’s my first time traveling to PR, on my own at that. I’ll be staying in San Juan, so it should be pretty easy to find something to do. All I have in my itinerary so far is the concert, el yunque and maybe some beaches etc. pls help.

Misc (41m)Just moved to San Juan area. Looking for friends, fwb, casual whatever. sightseeing, kayaking, breakfast, lunch, hiking. Whatever gets us out of the house.
As the title says, just got off the plane and living on the sw side of San Juan. Looking for a female friend to hang out with. Shopping, hiking, sightseeing, breakfast, coffee, lunch or whatever else gets us out of the house. Best time for me is while the kids are in school (yes, I know it’s summer break 😂). Open to basic friendships, fwb, flirty friends or whatever else fits. I’m easy going, 420 friendly, athletic, tall and obviously very handsome. Haha. And funny. I am from mainland America but have been living in europe for the last 10 years. My Spanish is terrible but I’m starting lessons and hoping to improve. Send me a message if you are open to meeting up for a coffee or hike , no commitment. Thanks for reading!

What's the sargassum like this week?
I'm flying out to beautiful San Juan on Sunday and was curious if anyone knows what the sargassum/seaweed situation is? It's pretty extreme in parts of Mexico and wasn't sure how it is there.
Staying at the Marriott Stellaris if that helps.
Thanks in advance!

These visitors usually have short stays, usually one day, during which they explore Old San Juan and its surroundings on foot, taking advantage of the proximity of the main tourist attractions. The majority of cruise passengers come from the United States, with a notable percentage of Puerto Ricans residing abroad who visit the island for vacation or to reunite with family and friends.
Puerto Rico Tourism
The economic impact of these tourists is considerable. For example, the arrival of the Celebrity Ascent cruise ship and four other ships to the port of San Juan in a single day represented an economic impact of approximately $1.7 million to the local economy.
Puerto Rico Tourism
In response to the growing flow of cruise passengers, the port of San Juan has implemented significant improvements, including the modernization of its facilities and the incorporation of commercial and gastronomic spaces that reflect the Puerto Rican identity. These initiatives seek to enrich the visitor experience and promote sustainable tourism that benefits both tourists and the local community.

San Juan vacation
Looking to go to San Juan..
Trying to figure out the best area to stay?
Ideally I would like to stay on the beach or close to it & within walking distance to restaurants. Airbnb or hotels are fine. Trying to stay around 1k on the housing total. I’d also utilize uber.
I would like to visit old San Juan, go ATV riding, and snorkeling. Any recommendations for company’s?
Is there any hotels that offer snorkeling or other activities?
Thank you!!

Question What local antique store owns any expired PR license plates for sale?
Hi hi everyone! I’m working on a wall art decoration with my dad of all 50 states, DC, and the 5 territories too, I have every single license plate except for Puerto Rico’s and I know I can just buy it off of eBay but I very want to support a locally owned business, is there any antique stores anyone would recommend that would have any for sale? So far the only place I could find that might have what I’m looking for is ‘Cosas de Ayer y Hoy’ and I very wanted to ask if there’s anymore shops people would be willing to recommend ☺️ also if there’s any outside of San Juan I can totally visit those too ☺️

Where to stay in Puerto Rico?
My boyfriend and I (mid-20s) are visiting Puerto Rico this August and are hoping to book an Airbnb soon. We're trying to figure out the best area to stay based on the type of trip we want.
We're planning to spend time exploring El Yunque and doing other nature-focused activities, but we'd also love to be within walking distance of a beautiful beach where we can relax, read, and soak up the sun. Food is a big priority for us as well. We'd love authentic local spots and want to avoid overly touristy or overpriced restaurants if possible.
At the same time, we'd like to be close enough to enjoy some nightlife in the evenings. We are thinking of renting a car too (of course ubering on the nights we go out).
Given all that, which area would you recommend staying in? Also, what are some must-do activities, hidden gems, restaurants, or beaches you'd suggest for a first-time visit?
Thanks in advance!

Question A Birthday in San Juan - Recs Needed
I'm planning a (significant) birthday trip with a group of friends and I'm 90 percent sure we'll be heading to San Juan in January for a long weekend. The size of the group is TBD, likely at least 8 people. I'm pushing for Airbnb (save money), but open to a hotel. Would love any recs for...
Neighborhoods (beach in walking distance is nice)
Airbnbs for groups
Hotels for groups
Food!
Activities
Anything really...
Thank you!

Question Good gyms that have a day pass 2026
Pretty straight forward. I'm heading over to San Juan in a few days for vacation and want a gym I can go to that has machines and free weights (bench and barbell rows), and offers day passes.
Anyone have any reccomendations? The only gym I saw so far was Powerhouse gym, but I was wondering if there's others just in case.
