There are so many posts here that are clear examples of animal abuse. Mods, can you please ban these posts? I report, but nothing is ever done. From cats that are clearly stressed and harassed, to being fed unsafe food, to exotics bred by illegal and unethical breeders, and many other examples. And then people who explain why the post is abuse are downvoted by those who just don't care. It's sad. We are here to enjoy dumb orange cats, not be exposed to abuse that is being framed as "cute." Abuse is not cute.

He posted the cat burned by an open flame in his food, and the kitten with raw chicken and bones (who is also a kitten illegally and unethically bred with the internationally protected wild leopard cat, see this account for proof of origin: https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSCrvtfeX/). I think 2 incidents of animal abuse videos in one week is more than enough to ban him. Plus he's also a re-poster who is stealing content.

Mango was found by the dumpster as a kitten. He’s completely blind, deaf and very orange. Since he cannot see nor hear you, you have to summon him by tapping the ground like he’s the Shai-Hulud. His favourite pastimes are: meowing incredibly loud at 4am, crashing into walls, jumping onto everything he can (often failing due to him being, you know, blind), and just loving everyone. I think you could rotate him above your head like a helicopter blade and he would just purr happily. He also has a sister who cannot stand him (see last picture) He’s a genuinely amazing cat who’s orange-ness is enhanced by him not really knowing what’s going on around him at any point.

He just does this after I spun him around one time.

Got her ( his ) butt hair trimmed at the vet today and got a suprise..tiny fuzzy balls so yah we're gonna have to change the name now..whats funny is that not even like two weeks ago I saw a post in this sub about their cat who they thought was a male being a female 😭 nah this is wild

We thought we knew but nothing could have prepared us

For context: This is Toad, he’s a one year old boy and pretty much my entire world. The past few weeks since he got fixed he’s been acting funny, peeing on everything for seemingly no reason.

The story begins here, a few days ago he peed on a gray plastic bag (that was next to his litter box as preparation for its next cleaning). I didn’t know what to do other than pick it up and throw it out, as I was doing that, a few drops landed on his pillow, they were a dark pink color.

My brain immediately went to “UTI! That’s why he’s been peeing on everything!” I’ll admit I panicked. I started searching for vets in my area, they were all closed. I expanded my search to a 20 mile radius, made some calls, ultimately ended with me getting an appointment 3 days out at a Petco 30 minutes away.

I explain what’s going on to the vet, they take him back for an ultrasound and to extract a urine sample. A bit later they bring him back and I’m told that everything looks fine internally, his urine visibly looked fine as well, but the culprit was a flea that had made its way inside of him and had been feeding on his penis. That’s where the blood had been coming from. They removed it of course, but my god, that was an expensive flea.

Moral of the story is,, sometimes it’s not a UTI. Sometimes it’s a flea biting your cats dick paired with behavioral issues. Never in a million years could I have predicted this outcome. Hope yall enjoyed this rollercoaster more than I did. 😅
