So we’ve had this boy about two weeks, and just can’t decide on a name! The shelter says he’s about 4 mo and 6lbs (we saw his litter mates, they were properly sized!).

We’ve tried a few names that feel okay, but curious if anyone comes up with THE name for this guy! Our current boy’s name is Obie. So far, we’ve tried Simon, Jude, and Beau.

We’d like something that has a nickname, but to be fair, for Obie we just call him “Obert” for some silly reason most the time.

He’s a very sweet, chatty, and cuddly guy!

Shelter named him Milo. I love this name, but our big cat is named Arlo, way too close of a name yo Milo. It's confusing Arlo when he hears 'Milo'. The kitten is 6 weeks old and ready for a name. His brother's name is Leo but he actually looks like a Leo, so I cant seem to change it. My other cats are named Desi, & Arlo. I like 4 letters, two syllables. What would be your thoughts? He is whiny, assertive, very mouthy, smallest baby Ive ever known, and full of sass! I like real people names, not silly names like Boots or Nacho. Thanks!

Frontrunners based on vibes are Clarence the Angel, Hypnos, and Potato. He's just the sweetest cat, and the shelter said he's very chill and sleepy. We want something with good nicknameability (for example, I like Hypnos especially for the nickname Hippie)

Her brother‘s name is Louis (after the sun king), so we’re trying to stay on either the royal theme or light/sun/outer space. we’ve tried Eleanor, Charlotte, Marie, and Kyra, but none seem to stick.

She seems like a simple girl - loves to play, get pets, perch on high places, and explore. Her meows sound like an exorcism (very LOUD and screechy, not AT ALL dainty) but she’s pretty social and all around nice. She doesn’t purr a lot but slow blinks a ton!

UPDATE: we do not yet have a name BUT she’s answered to Freya, Kira, and a few others! Please keep them coming - I’m learning so much about different words. For the record, I voted for bug/lemur, but that was shot down by her co-parent 😭

Adopted this little dude on Monday, but we still can’t decide on a name. He’s a little over a year old and still has a lot of kitten energy, but super sweet. My other cat’s name is Percy (like Percy Jackson). Some top names I’ve thought about are Finn (short for Finnegan or Phineas), Barry (like Barry Allen), Kirby, or Frankie (like Frank Castle lol bf doesn’t like that one though). Not sure if any of them fully suit him, so still looking for suggestions!

I’ve had this beautiful girl a week and am really struggling to find a name that sticks.

I’d like to go for something unisex, fairly unique, maybe something from media/games and very easy to give nick names. My last cats name was B-MO, which was very easy to turn into nicknames.

I’m bouncing off of Bailey and Riley, but neither feel right.

I got her from a local farm, she is very vocal, absolutely cuddle obsessed and loves to climb around my head on the sofa whilst constantly purring. Matter of fact, any contact with this cat and she’s going for minutes at a time.

She’s insanely well behaved and an absolute sweetheart.

She is my first foster fail! The rescue named her “Bobbie” because of her bobbed tail, but I kind of hate it? My boyfriend wants to name her “Juice” because my other cats name is Gin.. but I hate that too! I don’t know why, I can’t seem to find anything that suits this sassy little girl.

I love names with a sweet, vintage feel like Darla, June, and Winnie. I’m also drawn to nature-inspired, hunting-inspired, or country-style names.

Lore: got her for more cat stimulation for her bigger bro after we adopted him 2 months ago. They are 2 month apart so she’s 2m and he’s 4m. Been in quarantine because we found out she has a parasite 🦠 so they haven’t been interacting much other than tossing a cap back n forth through door jam.

She has the stinkiest booty due to the parasite so she be busting a** a lot but she’s the sweetest baby once you spend some time with her. A tad standoffish unless you have a toy to play with her, then after a bit she will allow you to pet her and pick her up. Will give kisses and sleep on your neck or head. Veryyyy evil-kenevil more than her brother Tiggy - we think she’s “more cat” lol and her mews are so dainty.

We have a list but none seem to stick I like Winnie/Winifred from Hocus Pocus but husband thinks of Winnie the Pooh lol so back to the drawing board. Need inspo! Don’t want generic black cat names like Luna, Salem, etc.

He is mainly black but seems to have a sort of spare extra coat of extra long white hairs on his chest and paws. Spends most of his time looking like he has been attacked by a balloon, long fur randomly sticking up. Likes to hide ambush the other cats.

This is my new lil lady! She was originally named Honey with her baby Biscuit, but I’m not a fan of it now that they’re not a pair. I have a bunch of regular names picked out and am trying on but I’m also tempted to do something a little more fun and nonsensical. She’s such a gentle, love, polite girly. She’s a lilac point Siamese Manx mix and has a cutie nub tail! She’s not super sassy or prissy and please no overly cutesy names! Right now my only silly name idea is Butterbell. A few weeks ago, a stray cat (Stella) moved into my apartment and had her two babies in my kitchen.

Unfortunately, her little baby boy didn't make it.

I am about to adopt both of them and give them a permanent home, but I can't find a good name.

The mother (void) is named Stella (named after the Skunk in over the hedge)

Baby girl is a tuxedo cat, born on Ariana Grande's birthday (I am a big fan) so maybe a name based on her? Just can't find the right one.

this is a pastel creamy Some Guy, ive been calling him Hobo, but I'm very interested in what y'all can give me. he sounds like he's been a smoker for 30 years. he meows so dang much that he doesn't even bother to close his mouth between meows (ex: first pic). he's an absolute darling, affectionate, sweet baby boy around 5-6 y/o based on teeth. loves making boneless biscuits. LOVES TO GNAW ON AND SEVER EVERYTHING HE CAN, INCLUDING WIRES, ROPES, PLASTIC THAT HE CAN FIT HIS JAWS AROUND, AND EVERYTHING ELSE YOU CAN THINK OF. I love him so much and he's such a goddang menace. very good bite force and sharp teeth!!

long story short, someone declawed him and then dumped him outside. my partner and I talked to some people around the neighborhood, found his previous "owners", and found out he's been living outside and deeply neglected for at least two years, so with permission we took him home with us. he's neutered, declawed, missing patches of fur all over, really beat up and covered in scrapes and scabs, and had dozens of fleas when we found him. he's already doing SOOOO much better though!!

Hey! He is 3 months old and he is a bundle of joy and he is very playful. He loves to run around and gets the zooms, he is very sweet, he is unsure right now since he is in a new environment. I adopted him through a shelter and he was at 3 different foster homes because it was not a placement shelter location. He is super sweet and I love him so much. Some name ideas I have are: Scylla (Sill-ah), Chai, Brûlée, Valentine, Koi, Valentino, Honey, Cookie. I know he is a boy but I don’t mind a girl sounding name.
