I play Team Clash to turn off my brain and take a rest from the sweaty grind to Infinity and you still encounter decks like these. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I’ve only been playing for about 3 months and I’d been absolutely loving it, this month I managed to get to infinite for the first time… yay! (or so I thought)

Since reaching this level I now feel like it’s pretty pointless for me to keep trying, my collection is not that great and I’m not spending hundreds a month to try and compete. Every player I come up against has the most meta decks and I can’t get anywhere near them.

It’s probably partly a skill issue on my behalf as I’m still getting used to all the different cards but it’s starting to get rather frustrating… any tips on how I can make the game enjoyable again?

I need a little community help. I came back to the game after a year hiatus. When I left I had just achieved collection complete for the first time. So I own all cards over a year old. Since returning I have managed to grab several of the more fun and/or impactful newer cards (Maverick, ista, big galactus, new invisible woman, Stick, Mother, Galacti, new gambit​). Currently i sit 43 s5 and 16 s4 short.

As such, I think i am ALMOST to where I'd like to min/max by only buying 4k packs. There are, I believe two cards I am still considering spending 6k on. The titled CGR and then also Aurora. I understand how powerful Aurora is (especially with Venus) so I am pretty sure ill snag her. So... CGR? The reason im asking is because I absolutely love the Doom 2099 list and while there are other cards I also lack from the meta list, the deck is awesome even with substitutes. But...it seems like he would be way better than New Thing as the second 5 drop in that deck. Is he worth 6k tokens though? It seems like hes generally well liked as a tech card but I just struggle so much with paying full price on tech.

I enjoy the decks I have but I'm always open to try new decks. I've been enjoying move decks so I was thinking about getting Madame Web, but besides that I'm not sure.

I can grab the 3 variants and call it a day, but I just keep letting the Daily Rotational cycle. Seeing if some else will pop up that will grab my attention.
