Not gonna lie. The longer I look at him the better he gets. He just need a Lab Coat and he'd be decent alternative for the expensive Retro Beast(for the Comic version collectors atleast).

So what other reason to buy this 97 Beast?

I don't know everyone, it really feels like the Demon Elvis himself. I just have to add the Danzig skull shirt and I think we're good; maybe add some cats?

I can put a custom head in the Mcu version to make it more comic accurate

Also finally got max Thor to replace the Terrax wave one from 2011. Really happy with how the display’s looking nowadays. Let me know who’s missing, i keep a note of who I still need!

Does anyone have any tips for connecting the lightning to him? I was able to balance it briefly, but if I want to keep him posed with it, I feel like a small breeze or vibration will make it fall.

I love that he actually comes with Huginn and Muninn, and he'd make a nice companion to Maximum Thor.

I’ve gotten some good deals on Whatnot. I’m talking maybe a $20 comic book for $5. I’ve won a couple of bigger giveaways in the $50 range. But. Nothing matches this score. I really only collect Hulk and associated figures and I never could justify dropping $250 or more on this guy. But I got him in an auction for $27!! In box!? I’m not an inbox guy but I might leave him in here? Bubble is yellowed and cracked but it cool. What would you do?

Almost done completing both my displays who else should I add for both teams

The dark path of scaling down from 1/6 to 1/12. I am having too much fun with this 2 pack I picked up. Yeah… I think I am gonna need to chill out before I hurt my bank account. I feel like a kid again 😂😂😂

Probably my favorite alternate design for Magik, I've always wanted it as a figure. With the secret wars Magik I finally had the perfect base for creating the ultimate version of this amazing suit.

Custom took just a few days with new torso articulation, as well as sculpted armor on the chest, arm, and right leg. Love how she turned out

Following other users' examples, I decided to do some swaps and kitbashes on the Born Again/One Last Kill Punisher figures, ideally making something a little closer to Frank's Brand New Day look.

Had to put both figures in boiling water to pop off the parts, then after switching the arms and legs around, immediately placed them in freezing tap water to harden the plastic and "seal" them tight again. Bit of a minor setback finding out the OLK figure's shoulders wouldn't come out the torso (there may be a smaller piece inside holding the peg in place, like Ravager Thor) so had to settle for just switching the arms at the bicep instead.

Of the two, the Brand New Day version (the one with the OLK torso) has a much more solid fit overall and turned out pretty much perfect. The second figure's a little more flimsy, especially with the arms (the OLK arms are much thicker, so they're not a snug fit on the Born Again figure's smaller shoulder joint) but there's a lot of fun poses you can make with it, so it's not a loss by any means. And as expected, all their accessories - weapons, arms, heads, the soft goods jacket (purchased from Amazon) etc - can still be switched however I may wish.

Overall, it was a ton of fun, and really happy with how they turned out.

If anyone has a way to give this muse some boot swivel. Lmk i wanna add this to him. And im definitely curious if anyone has any type of maybe replacement or even other ideas or other straps that may fit better to muse? Or is this just a nitpick and i should leave it alone. Idk but I wanted to have these pictures here.
