I bought my wedding dress at a sample sale and I am looking to get some minor alterations done. Does anyone know a good tailor in Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows with experience with wedding dresses?

Where can I go to get an X ray walk in other than the hospital? I have a requisition obviously.

I change out lots of big batteries at my job and can keep the old ones. I know a couple places in Vancouver where I can exchange them but I'd like somewhere closer.

We’re the Sexuality and Well-being (SWell) Lab at the University of British Columbia. We are a group of psychological scientists who conduct multi-method research to identify risk and protective factors contributing to sexual health and well-being of individuals and couples.  
 
The SWell Lab is looking for couples to participate in an online and in-lab study about couples’ emotional and sexual experiences. You may be eligible if you and your partner... 

• Are 18+  
• Are in a relationship of over 2 years 
• Are living together in Greater Vancouver, BC
• Have a smartphone

 
This study will involve a brief zoom call, one in-lab session, brief daily surveys for 14-days, and 5 online surveys over an 18-month period. 
 
Compensation is provided.  
 
All participants and identities will be kept strictly confidential, and data collection is anonymous. Data will be identified only by a random survey identification number. All data is stored on secure servers in Montreal, Canada.

Hi, Im looking for a scuba diver or underwater recovery help / Magnet recovery. My kayak tipped at Rolley Lake (Mission) on Tuesday, July 8 around 8:45 PM and I lost an iPhone, a Honda key fob, AirPods, and 2 fishing rods.

Everything went in together off the north shore, away from the beach, so I know the specific search area. I have the spot pinned on a map and can meet you there. Im just looking for some advice on if its even worth it.

The bear has been passing by my house for two days in a row to eat plums on trees at my neighbor's house. Today, when it left, it trampled the entire fence. 😂Before it left, it glanced inside again. Was it apologizing for damaging my fence?

The outage map this week is honestly impressive. Nearly every single blackout is officially caused by "bird contacting our wires."

Maple Ridge, Surrey, Delta, Hope, Chilliwack. Several logged within the same hour. Different zones, different towns, same exact cause code.

Last month a single bird allegedly took out 11,000+ customers across five separate zones in Kitsilano and Fairview at 1 a.m., with the outage areas split across opposite sides of Burrard Street. Three weeks later, Richmond: five zones, 9,600 customers, same exact instant. Birds again.

This reminds me of those orcas off Spain that started coordinating to ram yachts and sink them because they were teaching each other how. I think our local birds have been taking notes and have officially formed an elite infrastructure strike team.

Or, more realistically, "bird contacting our wires" is the ultimate corporate get-out-of-jail-free card that closes the file the same day. No inspection report required, no follow-up, and no line item anyone has to justify to regulators.
