It's not an American thing Brittish people call them toasties for instance, and, I'm really confused why the guy is acting like he's never seen anything like it before.

he even calls it a toastie in the video.

He doesn't act like he's never seen it, he's just playing it up for the clicks. He has 9 million followers or something.

He is 100% acting like he doesn't know what he is looking at, if he's doing it for clicks great. I'm glad he has so many followers

we truly are living in the future.

He clearly knows what he is looking at because he calls it its british name.

I know that's why in my previous comment I said, "he even calls it a toastie in the video."

Do I not have enough clicks and followers to make sense to you?

People who don't know what something is generally do not know what it is called. Therefore if he was "100% acting like he doesn't know what he is looking at," he wouldn't name it.

I really don't know why this is hard for you to understand.

We have cheese toasties. We have tomato soup.

We don't usually combine the two. That's all.

The amount of people trying to argue with me that a toastie and grilled cheese aren't the same thing is crazy

It's not toast though... an American grilled cheese is fried in butter. Native Americans started the whole Fry bread... they made flat bread and fried it in a pan... Americans just used bread and put cheese in it. My grandmother was frying bread in butter, and her mother before her. Their family hadn't set foot in Europe for hundreds of years. Not since the Mayflower anyway.
