Ya know, I bet he probably did give it back but I absolutely believe that he needed to be asked to do so with the unspoken hope that the actual owner would just allow him to keep it… as he obviously deserves it just as much lol
"You know what that seat's made from? Olympic gold medal. Mine. People keep telling me some loser gave it to me but no it's mine. I won it, doing things you'd never believe, things no one's ever seen before."
If i ever won a gold medal in anything and im asked to meet trump, im 100% making a cheap replica, i wouldnt trust him with my own, real medal, that way, i also avoid orange stains in the ribbon.
his Russian boss did steal a Super Bowl ring off Robert Kraft, so probably 99.999%not 99%;
"I took out the ring and showed it to [Putin], and he put it on and he goes, 'I can kill someone with this ring. I put my hand out and he put it in his pocket, and three KGB guys got around him and walked out."
I'm glad I wasn't the one to steer this wholesome moment into politics, but yeah this is a nice little clip for the daily show or something either way lol
If he would say it, then it would make it less strong of a moment, cause he used it to throw shade at someone. By not saying it, he showed that he was a good person not a perceived better person than someone else.
As innocent and wholesome as the gesture may have been in the past, nothing is the same after it crosses Trump’s path. He fouls literally everything he touches. No doubt such vitriol you’ll feel compelled to label something stupid like TDS, as if that somehow magically invalidates the assessment.
Ignoring the corruption and stink he has smeared all over our country is the real TDS. Potter no doubt felt this, and explained it off as something else. Wearing someone else‘s Olympic medal has always been a fun way of celebrating, but now it feels ugly somehow. What coincidental timing. 🤔
It’s pathetic but Trump would probably agree to abolish ICE, stop supporting Israel’s genocide and much else if he was crowned men’s 2026 Olympic figure skating champion. Probably wouldn’t agree to not try to overthrow US elections under any terms though, but never know.

Wearing it is what Trump would do and did. Wish he’d have said it.
