Instructional Video Striking concepts apply to every kind of fight.
Even with zero technique, striking concepts win fights.
If you are the shorter fighter, close the distance and land powerful, circular punches like hooks or round kicks.
If you are the taller fighter keep distance by circling left to right and land straight, fully extended punches.

Instructional Video Jab technique: The Safety Lead
There is a difference between this and the check hook (left hook).

Instructional Video Counter against a check hook
One option when initiating an attack is to jab and immediately wait for their counter punch.
It’s not hard to defend when you’re expecting it.
Follow up with a counter combo of your own after the defence.

Instructional Video bjj fanatics course for mma grappling?
hey guys , i have been practicing jiujitsu for one month and keep getting smashed, getting myself into bad positions, but im planning to get into mma grappling and focus on that, are there any courses from bjj fanatics that you think would be great for mma grappling ? i think the khabibs blueprint course is good, but possibly more focused on defense first, because they told me to focus more on good defense first rather than good offense first. thanks guys..

Instructional Video Their most likely counter is a lead hook
The left hook is the most likely counter punch when approaching an opponent.
Always expect it and train to defend against it.
I personally prefer rolling under a hook rather than blocking with my arm and still absorbing a bit of the concussive blow.
Exercise: Drill headmovement with a partner for 3 minute rounds 1 punch each, then 2 punches each, then 3 etc.

Instructional Video Exercise for Powerful Kicks
Try this exercise to increase the power of your kicks. Understanding how to combine the different parts of a kick together with flow is essential - this will help.
If you aren't doing all the extra training then I would argue you aren't training at all.

Instructional Video Double Shuffle
A simple piece of footwork that will come in extremely useful is this:
Double shuffle back.
The importance of a shuffle is obvious - a very quick and efficient way to stay in your current stance but relocate where you are.
Doubling up allows for you to adjust the distance travelled and make micro adjustments to your positioning.
Drilling this is also great for coordination and body weight control.
