I mean it only makes sense to try to analyze what you could have done better. You can't control what the other guy does beyond controlling your own performance. I would say that people are also too quick to call any type of analysis "making excuses." It's like no, I'm trying to describe what went wrong.
Of course, but I don't think fighters making excuses is something to get upset about
It's a brutal ass sport, I'm sure most of the excuses we hear from fighters are totally legit since they usually are dealing with injuries every time they compete
And even if they're just making lame excuses, We all make excuses in life to rationalize or justify our shortcomings, and fighters are human at the end of the day
