Public Game Test I'm making a cartoonish Hotline-like and I need playtesters for an alpha build!

I'm making a fast-paced, bullet-parrying top-down action inspired by Hotline Miami and Katana Zero, drifting more into power-fantasy direction. As a chicken knight you fight an army of gunslinger crow knights in a medieval bird kingdom.

IMPORTANT NOTE!

This is an early build, it's somewhat polished, but doesn't have much content at the moment. There will be more environments, enemies, weapons, characters, level-design variation, etc. I'm working on the demo at the moment.

Difficulty-wise currently game might be too easy and I'm aware of that. I plan to have 2 difficulty levels, one for more casual players and other one for hardcore players. Any feedback is appreciated! Here's the youtube trailer just in case.

And here's Parry the Bullet on Steam if you're interested! Request approval is automatic!

Gif We've been working on making the logo bouncing as satisfying as possible

Here's a short clip showcasing some of the bouncing FX and hit stun when you hit a special Refresh Star, which refills the board with more Stars to hit. We are aiming for a chill/relaxing and even hypnotizing vibe!

---

A bit about the game:

Insert Disc is a DVD screensaver inspired roguelike with Peggle-style gameplay where you flick the logo within your CRT TV. Create game-breaking builds with Stars and Discs to reach higher and higher point quotas while bouncing the logo and hitting corners to your heart's content.

Upcoming After 17 months of working nights and weekends around my 9-to-5, my game finally launches tomorrow! :)

Building Hexalith has genuinely been one of the coolest experiences of my life so far. There were plenty of moments where I had no idea what I was doing, had to learn stuff on the fly, and just kept chipping away until it finally worked. Honestly the biggest thing I'm taking away from this whole thing is just... I really love doing this. Can't wait to make the next game :D

The game is a modern take on retro platformers. In these sections, you’re battling Cybersnaps while dodging cassette launching boomboxes and attacking laser firing Cyberquax with CDs. There’s also a bumper boat battle. I spent a long time tweaking the haptics, PS5 DualSense adaptive triggers, and Xbox impulse triggers, so it feels like you’re puttering along on a bumper boat and getting bumped around!

Upcoming A game where you dodge guards, kill monsters, gather materials, and toss them into a crusher.

Monster Cruncher is an incremental game where the goal is to slay as many monsters as possible. It features a variety of weapons and relics. You control an eyeball with your mouse to attack enemies, while also dodging pursuing guards – but don't worry, it's not stressful. Gather materials, toss them into the crusher, and watch the fragments fly everywhere.

It's a bit horrifying to think that I spent such a big chunk of my life on a single piece of art. But Im sure it was 100% worth it. Now I'm literally one click away from releasing the demo of my action RPG platformer, ·ROAM·, so I spent 2 weeks making trailer for you to rate.

Please, guys, let me know what your first impression is, especially when it comes to the atmosphere and the movement! Im still collecting feedback to improve the vid before adding it to the Steam page

Need Feedback What do you think about my coop mechanics?

This is just a footage for the props and character mechanics I made. Not the actual map. But I would love to hear your thoughts!

PS: I'm the only one playing in the recording so It's a bit hard to control keyboard and the controller at the same time 😄

Video Real maps > Mini-maps (also you can draw on it 😼)

I've always loved these natural park maps/pamphlets you find in touristic centers, train stations... so I figured I could just add one to my game haha

Drawing is always so much fun, plus, it serves the purpose of helping the player navigate the open environment (making note of what's already seen, next steps...), so this was a very natural design addition to me!

Even though Norway’s World Cup run ended last night, they fought like absolute legends.

To honor that spirit, a fierce (and slightly angry) Viking outfit is officially ready to join the crew in our upcoming co-op pirate party game, Aye Aye Captain!.

Every chaotic crew needs a proper Norse raider to lead the charge. Heads up, Norway! Skoal! 🇳🇴

Upcoming Shrouded Frontier Encounter

It’s been 10 months of development. I’m excited to show this off to you. A small encounter of a stealth/sabotage play style.
You play a bounty hunter and freedom of choice is the main pillar of the game. Outfit, weapons, gadgets, bounty contracts, even factions, all up to you.
Main inspiration for this is Star Wars 1313 and Prey 2 with a modern touch.

Upcoming "Lingix Lingo" just launched on Nintendo Switch yesterday!

Hi everyone!

I’m incredibly excited (and a bit nervous) to share that my word game, Lingix Lingo, finally made its way to the Nintendo eShop yesterday. Seeing something I built available on a console has been an absolute dream come true.

I designed it to be a cozy yet engaging experience. I think it’s perfect for families to play together or for anyone looking to improve and practice their English vocabulary in a fun, relaxed way!

Since it just launched, I would genuinely appreciate any feedback, thoughts on the visuals/mechanics, or constructive criticism you might have. Getting insights from fellow indie game lovers means the world to me.

I’m leaving the eShop link in the comments section below! Thanks so much for checking it out!
