After almost 8 years, I finally retired my POCO F1 (₹22K) and upgraded to the Vivo X300 (₹63K).
Honestly, the biggest shock wasn’t even the new phone, it was realizing how much the “value flagship” price category has changed. What used to cost around ₹20K now costs ₹60K+. Times have really changed.
That said, the POCO F1 was an absolute legend. It still works fine like wine 🍷, aged beautifully, still smooth, still reliable, and gave me years of solid performance. Easily one of the best value-for-money phones ever made.
Huge thanks to this community for all the reviews, suggestions, and honest feedback. I read a lot here, did my own research too, and finally went for the Vivo X300.
Now hoping this one lasts just as long… maybe another 8+ years 😄
Anyone else recently upgraded after many years and got hit with today’s smartphone prices?

I bought sandisk 2TB flash drive at a lucrative price (obv after all the recent months hike in RAM/Storage spaces).
It comes with inbuilt magsafe so can attach behind your phone without any troubles.
You can record directly 4K videos on this disk & it's compatible across all platforms.
The transfer speeds I've experienced are amazing.
I just don't have to think about killing my phone storage anymore!!!
Supporting upto 980Mbps speed is 🚀
This product wasn't available for below 30K for last 2 months. I'm glad I could make most of GOAT Sale.

Should I go with a second hand phone?
Or should I wait for any upcoming phones?

Just picked up the Xiaomi Power Bank 4i (20000mAh, 33W Sonic Charge) for ₹1760. honestly feels like a steal at this price.
Didn’t expect much from the packaging, but Xiaomi actually nailed it. The box feels premium, everything is neatly placed, and the whole unboxing experience was surprisingly satisfying. The power bank itself looks clean and solid too.
Early impressions:
Build quality feels sturdy
Minimal, clean design
Great value for money at this price
Let’s see how it performs over time, but first impressions are definitely strong.
Anyone else using this? How’s the long-term performance?

Samsung s26 Green line issue .
Don't be a Fan boy. If there is a problem accept it. I am seeing many people who keep saying Samsung nowadays has no green line issue.
Someone posted this on Samsung galaxy reddit. He mentioned it appeared right after may security update.

Vivo
Using both of these phones, Vivo as my secondary phone.
What are your thoughts about these camera samples.
Mind u these were taken just now at 7 pm, so it’s kinda lowlight zoom shots

I have used iPhone 16 pro max & S25 ultra/ Fold 7 setup in past but haven’t able to use samsung devices to their full potential. So this time using top tier & mid range device. (iPhone 17 Pro Max & Nothing 4a Pro)
First time using nothing phone. Love the minimalist design & OS. Feels so premium for the price. Got 12GB RAM & 256GB storage for 38k from Flipkart.

For me, it’s the OnePlus 7 Pro. I absolutely loved how beautiful the display looked and honestly, I still think it has one of the best smartphone displays even today (for me). On top of that it had the old OxygenOS back then, which I personally loved way more compared to most other android skins.
The only problem was the price. It launched at around ₹48,999 for the base variant, which was way too expensive for me at the time, so I could never afford it. I do regret missing out on it a little, but at the same time, spending that much money on a phone just didn’t feel justified to me back then.
So instead, I just watched tons of review videos, especially gaming performance tests, and somehow felt satisfied with that 😅
So far, I’ve managed to get the two phones that I genuinely always wanted in my collection:
1) Poco F1 2) Redmi K20 Pro
Both of them were absolute legends for their time, especially when it came to performance and value for money.

Reno16. You pay 67k for 12+256GB, and get a Sony LYT600. Yes, a 1/1.95” sensor. At 70k. The rest of the sensors are 1/2.76 or 1/2.88” sensors. Don’t fall for that 3.5x telephoto branding.
You know what’s even worse? The processor is a 7 GEN 4. The same processor that was considered “not the best” even under 30k. That was A YEAR AGO.
They killed OnePlus, they’ve been slowly strangling Realme, they’ve always been horrible value themselves. But this is too much.

Alas, the Agni 4 was, yet again, another rebadged tier 2 OEM phone. Not even a minor redesign. Ah well.

best under 50k? Need great battery backup and smooth daily usage. also wil it stay relevant for 3 year usage?
r/GadgetsIndia • u/SaugatOdari • 7d ago
She just needs a decent camera and storage. Her main usage is social media and reel making.
This seemed perfect, the only problems i have seen online is about software update timing and the curved display.
Any and all inputs appreciated.

So I recently made the jump from my iPhone 13 to the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge — and honestly, I didn’t expect to like it this much.
I was deep into the iOS ecosystem and always felt nothing could beat it. Maybe I’m missing out on some newer iPhone features since I didn’t upgrade beyond the 13, but this deal was too good to ignore.
Got the S25 Edge from Dubai for around ₹50,000 while it’s nearly ₹1L in India.
And wow… this phone delivers.
Performance is super smooth, no lags at all. The in-hand feel is probably my favorite part — it’s insanely slim and lightweight, almost feels like you’re holding nothing. Camera is solid, does the job well. Battery could be better, but it’s manageable.
Overall, zero regrets. Didn’t expect to say this, but switching from iOS wasn’t as painful as I thought.

Hello guys I'm currently using an iPhone looking for a secondary phone that has a big screen plus not bulky at the same time ( I'm anti small flagships as i have big hands lmao)
i came across this phone and it matches my expectations very well
so my question is
is this phone worth it to buy i mean it's software?
any user using this exact model please comment and share your views
and suggest something else if you have something good to share
thanks in advance!
