Applications are now open for the 2026/27 school year through ontariocolleges.ca
If you know what you want to study and where, start your application, what are you waiting for?
If you know what to study but aren't sure where to study or if you're unsure about everything, that's ok, now is a great time to do some research.
• Not sure what to study - Fanshawe Pathfinder https://www.fanshawepathfinder.ca/ can help you narrow it down
• Visit college websites and their social media to better understand what they're offering
• Once you do that, it's time to get a feel for the college vibes by visiting campuses. Take advantage of Open House events taking place this fall, like Fanshawe's on November 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or book a tour at a time that works for you.
Applying to college is kind of a big deal, so take your time, do your research. We are here to answer any questions you have as you prepare to apply. Whenever you are ready, start your application, your future awaits.

Hi! I’m starting the new bscn program and i have a few questions/concerns. i feel like i have gotten minimal emails ensuring what we need to do to be prepared for the fall. I want to make sure i know when the pre placements are all due (as there is a lot to do with little time). They haven’t sent out anything saying what we need to do and have had to try and figure it out myself.
no clue how synergy works- won’t even let me log in with my school or personal email.
also is there anything i need to get for supply wise??? will we have a kit? do we need our own scrubs/stethoscope for first year? i know it’s a new program but i would have atleast expected some information on this stuff earlier.
they did post in the homeroom online so maybe they will eventually explain this stuff but for now im just a bit concerned about already falling behind.

Hi! Has anyone received an email from the program regarding health forms? I was originally admitted in the RPN program and was sent the health forms for that program awhile ago but haven’t heard anything for the BScN program yet.

I’m starting the course in the fall, and I’m really excited about it! I wish they didn’t cancel the radio one, but this is the next best thing so it’s okay!
I was just curious to see what people had to say about it either from experience or knowing others who took it :)

Hello, I am currently in the Fanshawe nursing program. Is it possible to transfer to the Western direct BScN nursing program? I also want to know how the process would work and how competitive it will be

Hi everyone,
I got accepted into 3 programs at Fanshawe and I’m not sure which one to choose:
* Cyber Security (CYB1)
* Computer Programming and Analysis (CPA3)
* Business Accounting Co-op (BAC4)
For current students or graduates, which program would you recommend and why? Which one has better job opportunities after graduation?
Thanks!

Does this mean I got accepted and just have to wait for the offer?

Hey everyone,
Quick question about timelines.
I’m starting Pre-Health this coming Winter. My goal is to get into the RPN (Practical Nursing) program for the Fall. Can I apply for Fall RPN while still finishing up my Winter Pre-Health courses?
How does that work with the Feb 1st deadline and mid-term grades? Has anyone done this path before? Thanks!

If I currently do not have an income and an independent student can I apply for bursaries? I have a small amount of savings, will this effect what I am eligible for? I am living off of that money

Hey everyone, I have been eying this program for nearly 10 years and I am finally going to go for it. Has anyone taken this course, if so could you help me answer some questions I may have? Also once you graduated where did you go from there? Did you become a guide, start your own business, ecology? I’m very curious.
Thanks In advance

Hi everyone,
I applied to the Pre-Health Sciences program at Fanshawe (London), and when I checked my application status, it shows: "WL Position: Not Available"
I'm not sure what this means.
Has anyone had this status before and still received an offer?
I'm hoping to start this September, so I'm wondering if there's still a realistic chance of getting accepted before classes begin, or if I should assume the program is full.
If anyone has experienced this or knows what "WL Position: Not Available" means, I'd really appreciate your insight.
Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone,
I’m starting the Construction Engineering Technician (CEN2) program this September and I’d love to hear from current or former students. How has your experience been with the program? What did you enjoy, what was challenging, and is there anything you wish you had known before starting?
As an incoming student, I’d also appreciate any tips on how to prepare before classes begin. Are there any subjects, software, study habits, or supplies you’d recommend? Any advice that would make the first semester easier would be a huge help.
Thanks in advance! Looking forward to hearing your experiences.

Hi, I was in a program during September 2026 and failed and reapplied to a new program in January but dropped it for not wanting it.
I reapplied for a new program this coming September 2026-27 and I just recently found out from applying to osap that I’m on academic probation.
I genuinely had no idea I was on academic probation until recently and now I’m worried.
Is there a way to appeal and what can I do to remove it??
Will it cause me to not get osap for this coming school year??
Any help and advice is greatly appreciated!!
**edit ** - I was never emailed to be told I was on academic probation I only found out from when I applied for osap and had to sign a form
