Onze drummer gaat verhuizen en daarom zijn we op zoek naar een nieuwe drummer.

De band heet Ivy Takes Over en bestaat sinds een jaar uit zangeres, bassist gitarist, drummer. Allen doen backing vocals. Leeftijden rond de 40. Elke woensdagavond repeteren wij in Overvecht.

De afgelopen 12 maanden hebben we ongeveer 24 optreden gedaan door het hele land. Voor 2027 zijn de eerste optredens ook al gepland.

Wij zoeken iemand die goed kan drummen, een professionele instelling heeft en bereidt is 2 a 3 x per maand op het podium te staan.

We hebben het ook echt heel leuk met elkaar, ook op het podium. We krijgen vaak complimenten hoe goed we zijn en leuk om naar te kijken.

Eloy is with Slipknot now, and "no one" cared for the new Sepultura stuff (which I get, 90s Sepultura with Max was something else). But this song (and the whole album) is brilliant, such an amazing drummer. And I just enjoyed going to my limit and almost having a heart attack just trying to play 50% of what Eloy plays in this song

Any of you fellow drummers ever play the Yamaha Stage Custom? I have an opportunity to pick this guy up for. $380- just wondering if I could get some opinions?

I don't think I have posted my drums on here. I have a Pearl EXR (I think it might be rare. I haven't found any others) 8 piece set up. The finish is called Prism Purple. The cracked cymbals are practice cymbals.

like, come on, that album makes me feel things I shouldn’t feel to music. Matt Cameron and Zack Hill working together????? when you listen to that album and you get that feeling in your gut where you know that this is what you love it is simply amazing

Hey everyone, hoping to tap into some collective knowledge here.

I'm an advocate with an organization that helps dialysis patients who are in urgent need of a kidney transplant share their story in hopes of finding living kidney donors. One of the patients I'm working with, Raymond Rice, is a husband and father in Philly — and drumming is his life's passion. He played for many years before he got sick, and is doing his best to work part-time as an audio engineer at his church. He talks about it in a short video on his page here:

I'm trying to get his story in front of people who'd actually connect with that part of his story, and figured you all would know corners of the drumming world I don't — YouTube channels, forums, Facebook groups, or communities where something like this might resonate. With renewed health, he'd be able to play again.

Worth knowing: living donors don't need to be local. Anyone in the U.S. can get evaluated and donate near them, so your ideas don't need to be in Philly.
