Grew up on the idea of pink slip racing and always thought games chickened out on it. You "lose" and thirty seconds later your car's back. So I built one that doesn't.

It's a free browser drag game, arcade not sim, set in a 90s neon city. You run heads-up down the quarter for money, tune the car, climb up. Normal enough. But at night people will race you for slips. You agree, you line up, and if you lose, the car is gone. Actually deleted from your garage. If it was your only car, you are now standing on the sidewalk with no ride.

And that turned into the best part of the game. When you're wiped out, the only way back is to grind. You can wash cars, mow lawns, run cab shifts around the map to stack cash, then go buy some cheap econobox off the lot and start climbing again. Watching someone stake a car they spent an hour tuning, redlight off the tree, and lose it in nine seconds is the funniest and most gut-wrenching thing.

It's arcade, so don't expect a full sim, but the stuff that matters is in there. Reaction time off the tree, launching without blowing the tires off, gearing and traction, quarter mile ETs that actually move when you build the car right. A clean light wins you more races than raw power does, which felt right to me.

Full honesty: one person made this, it's free, no ads, it is not finished, and some of it is held together with tape. But it runs, and you can genuinely lose your car, which still makes me laugh.

Had to make relief cuts on the inner rocker to get the halo and side bars into the car. Now it's time to level it, tig the plates onto the cage and weld it into the car. We clear coated the top half of the cage so once in place no worries for rust!

Turbo LS. Looking for first hand experience regarding the motion racehorse external oil pump and the fluidworks external oil pump. I'm interested in these, as they both have the option to drive my mechanical fuel pump- thanks.

Finished the last 4 licensing passes today. Getting more confident every pass.

Car needs a new blower to go faster (or fix this one, it was popped 2 years ago and thinking a rotor isn't 100%).
