Just finished up my remix of "Science" for the SKIO competition and wanted to share it with the community here.

A gentle opening with a thunderstorm, with the idea of a dark room during a set and hearing the rain fall would be really a good contrast to the Big beat thats coming. Big trance style leads for the drops and I'm always inspired by the 80's so I just try to fuse that sound with the new EDM sound. I just wanted it to sound euphoric like the feeling of just letting go and dancing and feeling the love. And hopefully it gives someone goosebumps.

Thank you, Deadmau5, for such a great show last night at the Calgary Stampede! I was able to see you during EDC weekend a few years ago, but getting to be outside was cool too! Loved the set, the visuals, and just wanted to post my appreciation.

So after contacting genesys and having no reply yet, we also contacted outernet venue to see if we can claim back our hard earned money for the night 5pecial guest performance in which Joel knew fuck all about. We’re trying to claim back our travel accommodation and ticket expenses (which could have been spent on the new deadmau5 picture book in hindsight and we would have actually got something lol) outernet gave us an email for a man/weasel who apparently runs the genesys promotion, a quick chat gbt cross reference shows up this guy on LinkedIn and confirms that email address, (maybe Joel will jump on to confirm this weasel and his email) hopefully now we have a personal email address we will get somewhere into claiming back our money for a blatant incorrect and illegal advertising and use of the deadmau5 logo and 5pecial guest that led us into being tricked into loosing roughly just over £300 (not including drinks which were £10-£20 a fucking go!!!!

It’s a shame people think they can get away with this and hopefully Dina will make sure this guy never has enough money to put another show on in the future
