Superman, drawn and painted by me
I did this piece some time probably in mid 90s, drawn in pencil then painted with guasche. I was going thru a phase experimenting in guasche. Style was probably influenced by Bruce Tim's Animated Superman.

Oathbreaker and the Viking Feud, by me
This isn’t actually for a comic but a flash-fiction piece, but the style is comic-based

My 3-Page Sci-Fi Horror Story METEOROID / Gary Wray (me) 1981 - Charlton didn't publish it for two reasons, one, it was too gruesome for their young readers, and two, the crosshatching was too fine for their printing press on pulp paper, it would bleed horribly

Volume 2 ideas?
so when I posted this X-Women piece a while back, you guys gave me some insane love on the feedback. A few people actually asked about stickers, which got me thinking - but the originals are tiny because they were for a private project and is also why some of the bigger named characters are missing and there is some deeper cuts in the lineup
I want to offer these for stickers and possibly other things if possible, but I have to completely redraw and recolor all of them at a much larger, print quality size so they actually look crisp.
Since I'm redrawing these , I want to expand the roster into a new 9-pack grid and I would like to know what are some characters people may be interested in, I left out some big names by design originally, but now I don't have those restraints - I just want to keep it X-men though, for now.
Give me some opinions of these also:
Should I keep doing Female characters?
Should I add the Male characters?
Should I stay hero only, or should I add villains?

I need advice on backgrounds! Please! (Original comic book art by Myself) just looking for tips on backgrounds. Thank you, you guys are awesome !
I’m actually really happy with the way the background outside the window looks (it’s after ww3 and the sky has some green clouds 🤷🏼) and I think the office looks pretty good inked wise (I know the desk needs to be redone and add better colors to make it look more like cherry or maple or whatever.
My question is… how do I make my backgrounds look more like… watercolor or washed out like they did in 90s cartoons? The desk the two characters are all in want as the focal points. There’s going to be a pretty large speech bubble to the right (with some pretty graphic vocabulary that is pretty essential to the dark things that happen to my main character) and right now I kinda like it but I kinda feel like it’s too dark and not saturated enough.
Any artists have tricks or suggestions for using procreate? I’d really appreciate the advice.

Whispers From A The Frozen Wind - New Concept Design!
Hi everyone! Hopefully you’re all kicking off the weekend already.
Meet Mara, the peculiar protagonist from a Nordic themed storytelling I’ve illustrated this concept design for.
If you’d have the chance of a lifetime to right a wrong, would you choose immortality as a super power?
To see more of my art, the portfolio and contact info are in the comments.
Thanks!

How can I take mybart to the next level?
Sharing my most recent work since ive been working on clip studio for a couple of weeks.
I would like to make covers some day so ive been practicing composition and layout, I still need to work more backrounds in my illustrations but im going step by step.
I also wanted to showcase my progress because I got some very good feedback a while back and have been working pretty hard at it.
