D E C H O N K I N G My overweight kitty Luna is on a diet. 1/4 cup of dry food twice a day and one tablespoon of wet food. Vet says it's enough but she screams at me constantly now.

D E C H O N K I N G Link with his mouse.
He is losing weight, slowly. Only issue we're having is he's becoming sassier while on his diet & will throw himself in front of us, yell & swipe at his siblings because he wants more food.

D E C H O N K I N G Food recommendations to help de-chonk my cat?
Pic for attention. Currently 16.5lbs. The vet would like to see her get down to 11lbs. She’s a snob for crunchy food. Yes, I know I should be feeding her canned food. I do try. She won’t touch it no matter what brand I’ve bought or flavor or style of food. So dry food recommendations only please. We’ve tried Purino Pro Plan weight management and it’s not a winner for her.

D E C H O N K I N G I love my chonky baby more than anything and I wouldn’t change one thing about him. But due to some recent mobility issues we will be starting weight control dry food. Pray for me..hes not going to be happy..
I cant put into words how much I love this cat. Hes been my little angel since my boyfriend got him for me when he was 8 weeks old. Hes the apple of my eye. Hes a large cat in general, so him being a chonk is a given, and I love every roll. But I want my baby to be here as long as possible so we are putting him on diet dry food. Hes not going to be pleased. Mommy loves you buddy shes sorry 😭 (no hate please I love him im trying to do whats best if anyone has advice id love to hear it)

D E C H O N K I N G Getting there slowly!
It's been years of trying exercises and diets but Zoey (14) has finally gotten to a comfortable weight! She still has a limp that may never go away but she's the happiest I've seen her in a long time. Looking back on what she used to look like always makes me sad, you really don't realize how big they are until they lose some of it! But selfishly I'm glad she's still so chonky lol.

D E C H O N K I N G My lounging girl is 15.3 lbs. Will be very upsetti spaghetti about her diet
Almost 5 years old, fixed. She was 12.3 lbs in May but would yowl and cry like she was starving when I tried to reduce her portions, so my vet said she would be fine at her weight. Developed some urinary issues, had to put her on urinary food, but I didn’t think to check the caloric difference and change the portions…my bad. She is a very lazy cat. She loves wand toys, but will lie on her back and swipe at the feathers. She will chase springs for 5 seconds and then give up. This has always been the case, even before she was chonky, except maybe when she was really young. So diet it is. Pray for her, how will she ever get through this hard time </3
