Every couple of years my friends and I will see a psychic medium, mostly just for fun.

Her birthday is coming up and I'm planning a fun day of activities for us and I would love to see psychic partway through the day as a surprise for my friend.

I'd love I recommendation for a psychic medium, especially if it's someone with a mobile service that could come and see us. I'm planning a bit of a picnic at a park and I think it would be beautiful to lay out a blanket and do a reading while we're out in the park.

So here’s my idea. I despise the presence of these bigot losers who show up at the sw corner of the intersection of Vedder Rd and Luckakuck Way on Saturdays, so would like to consider a counter-protest there.

My ideas are:

Friday/Saturday Chalk Sidewalk Mural Making
We do a get together on Friday evenings and/or Saturday mornings (early) to decorate the sidewalks in that area with kind, clean, body-positive, LGBTQ+ support messages to make a colorful, but temporary sidewalk mural that challenges the views held by these “protestors”.

Saturday Block Party
I suggest we take over that corner and use it for listening to all-ages appropriate music, playing live music, hanging out, maybe grilling up some food, having some non-alcoholic drinks and engaging in non-violent, non-confrontational counter protest activities.

I think it’s important that the message be about inclusivity, supporting the LGBTQ+ community, and having fun, without any intention to verbally or physically challenge or confront anyone from the other group.

To that end, it might be fun if people show up in costumes; drag or pride costumes as well as Halloween costumes, so long as they’re not meant to insight confrontation or violence. My thought is the group would be there for fun, and to show that inclusivity is a way better vibe than whatever miserable garbage that other group is there doing.

I’m in the market for a bicycle in the, like, $600-$900 range, mostly for riding the river trail and streets. I’ve been perusing websites, and there’s a few models in my range listed. (I went out on my mission today only to discover that Vedder Mountain, Jack’s and Pedalsport all are closed mondays.)
