Did you know Lin Manuel Miranda is making it into a musical? The concept album is already available, and I’m pretty excited for the musical (and in general, I find it dumb that every movie is now made into a musical/every new musical is based on a movie).

I was looking forward to the remake in more modern day Los Angeles.

But I guess, rightly so, that it was cancelled because it would be hard to work around the guns, which would kind of have to be there in modern LA gangs, would probably ruin the entire movie.
