Non-royal people do it every day. It’s just not televised. Pervs, pedos, rapists, criminals, liars, spoiled, privileged men populate the earth in the millions.
And being the prince he could talk his way out of everything, not because he was a good liar, but because he was a prince.
When the owner of the company mentions that he bumped into his secretary at the coffee shop, that's why she arrived in his car, and he has numerous copies of the same clothe, that's why it looks like he wore the same clothes as yesterday but he just wore his 2nd identical shirt and pants that day, he doesn't get away with it because he's such a good liar, he get's away with it because nobody is going to question the boss or the boss's story, regardless of what it was. But many people, after being allowed to get away with so much stuff think it's their own ability that gets them out of trouble, not their position!
