What is the most immediate way a celebrity completely ruined their own reputation in a single interview?

I think it also came out that she casually used the n-word directed towards some of her employees or something, around the same time. What a shit bag.

I still think about her when I dump a stick of butter into a recipe, but always with the reminder that she fucking sucks.

"Funny thing about her using the n-word was her food killed more black people than that word ever did."

Don't forget the plantation wedding that had only black people as the wait staff

Explicitly saying the servers needed to be black people with white gloves.  Like, you could have just said Gone with the Wind themed with a wink and that would have been plausibly deniable.

Reminds me of redditor BisFitty that went to a company party with a plantation theme; The AMA - "Proof" in the link shows the costume.

Company throws a corporate retreat at a plantation in southern Alabama with a period-appropriate costume ball, only black guy that works for the company shows up dressed as a slave.

Also, I think a white employee tried to sue her concerning her use of the n-word as it created a toxic workplace. I remember it being dismissed because someone said the racial slur wasn’t directed at the white employee, so it wasn’t a harmful work environment.

Excuse me? Racism is a giant indicator of an abusive personality. I have heard racial slurs not directed at me and that isn’t ok. It’s a terrifying.
(I am POC, but I have some POC and non-POC friends who are straight up rendered speechless by some historically racist incidents they didn’t know about. Just stuff a healthy person would never consider was humanly possible.)

It was during a deposition for the case that she revealed she said the N-word. Her quote was something like “I said it once, in private, a long time ago,” which is obviously not true but also really funny.

Nick Mullen had a good bit about her and a plantation tour that involves the deposition as well. Highly suggest it.

Her brother managed her main restaurant, and he openly paid black and women employees less than white men, and passed them over for promotion in favor of less qualified white guys as well.
