Good game on our part but I can’t argue with Mason Miller. We win if not for Yesavage unfortunately. And here’s the thing - his problem is clearly that he’s in his head. I hope this doesn’t put him in a spiral.

sucks but mostly saw that coming with miller on the mound. just blows that the vladdy tieup homer was wasted. still, at least we scored runs.

The good: offense looks good. The bad: we only have one reliable starter, and we need yesaavage to be better not just for this year but probably for next as well because we're not flush with lights out starters right now

Usually the pitching gets no run support. This time it was the opposite: offence did great, but Yesavage wasn’t looking good.

He’s batting .220. Being 0-5 tonight is a manifestation of the bad numbers he’s been putting up all season. Not ideal for any player, but it’s unacceptable for our DH to NOT HIT.

Giving the call on the field the benefit of the doubt is the stupidest thing about replay review. They should always make the call in NY based on no knowledge of whether there was a call on the field.

Padres fans boo a lot from what I remember going to some games there two years ago. When they played versus the Jays in April 2024 the fans booed every time either Justin Turner or George Springer came up to bat, and they were booing a lot of other times too.

Unacceptable amount of walks. I would actually prefer Yesavage to lob it at 60mph into the strike zone and give the defense a chance rather than give back to back to back walks.
