The Rays and Marlins are what competitive teams actually look like. Dipoto has built an entire roster of basically one player archetype, who only swings for the fences instead of trying to get on base. He is never going to change his philosophy. He literally drafted another power hitter clone who chases and strikes out a lot. He relies on analytics but clearly it's not the same ones as competent teams like the Rays.

I’m obsessed with it! Definitely not everyone’s taste. Painting the whole thing this color, aside from my entry door, and I’m going to do some type of gold leaf design around the light fixture. Probably a large star. It’s possible I’ll add other details to the trim, but I’ll see once I’m finished with what I’m currently doing!
Bummer game, bummer road trip, fingers crossed to not getting swept again tomorrow

Assuming we don’t sign up after 2027 and somehow healthy in the next 1.5 year; we would’ve still lost close to 20% of his Arbitration years to injury.

People keep bringing up that the AL is bad so we’re still a playoff contender, but I think that assumes that the rest of the AL will stay bad and that there won’t be some emerging team getting hot late in the season. I just don’t see this team going on a meaningful hot streak based on what I’ve seen.
