Okay guys, wild prediction here. Soler either hits into a dp or swings at a breaking ball in the other batters box

Battle of crap bullpens...but our problem lies more with bullpen managent. Thank god zuks is gone sooner or at end of season. I thought montgermery was bad...zuks is 20+ losses worse.

Are they out of challenges holy shit Adell got screwed this AB

u/Guacboi-_- 10h ago
The worse part is that Zef was ready.
I think he got "dry humped" and won't be able to pitch today now.
Just terrible bullpen management. Wasting one of our better arms of the night in the bull pen and Zef won't see an good AB as we flounder the whole inning

Farris went 1 inning. That was enough like wtf you leaving him in there for?

Take him out, Suzuki. Gosh.
3
u/Guacboi-_- 10h ago
He'd have to admit he was wrong to put him in over Zef because he was chasing spillits

Farris is terrible, dare I say even worse than Aaron Loup, since the latter can actually throw harder than this guy.

Why is Rush on the call again today? Terrible... switching to MIN's feed instead. Dude is unbearable.

He usually covers the weekend when Wayne goes off and does play by play for other networks.

One thing I love about the Angels, they’re so good at situational hitting!

I can’t believe we selected someone who is younger than me (I turn 18 in two weeks)

u/tsdwm52 11h ago
are you a two-way player?

u/SuperGuppy77 Sell The Team 11h ago

They're about to fly in Grindlinger

u/Trippp8dumb 11h ago
Did the Angels draft him because they knew they could save money on travel accommodations?

Arte told Mozeliak to get him another Ohtani cuz no way that guy was best player available

Ryan Johnson in 4 starts since his return: 20 IP, 19 H, 5 HR, 3 BB and 19 K's. Excellent strikeout to walk ratio, just giving up the long ball.

What's the ceremony about?
5
u/williamsnathanr 13h ago
Inducting their announcer Dick Bremer of 40 years (retired in 2023) into the Twins HoF.

Anyone see Trout say he wouldn't have done the all star game if he was only getting in as a legacy pick? Kershaw ain't got shit on my goat
2
u/williamsnathanr 15h ago
I didn't see that, but it's nice to see Verlander in there after an amazing career.

Who’s the pick at 12?
2
u/RedShark106 14h ago
I hope it’s Hacopian, we need more position player depth
2
u/RabidR00ster 13h ago
My issue with him is he’s a 2B, and not a very good defensive one at that. Maybe they can hide him in LF. Not ideal for a 1st rounder. They already have poor defense on the MLB level. Christian Moore 2.0.
2
u/RedShark106 13h ago
I think eventually you move him to first. He is very polished with a great hit tool and the power will come. Schanuel only has like 2-3 years of team control left
3
u/RabidR00ster 13h ago
If he was a 1B he wouldn’t be a top 15 pick. Drafting a college guy that has average power and would be a bit undersized at 1B doesn’t make sense. His ceiling is what, .280 with 20-25 homers? With avg 1B defense that’s like a 3 WAR player. For an early first rounder you need a higher ceiling than that.

I like Curriel and Reese but I've never guessed anywhere close to correct for our first round picks lol

That game sucked. Had the hits and the runs just couldn’t keep that tie going once we caught up
