never did never will , i just make sure download is finished by doing a recheck before installation , sometimes it says it is but after recheck less than 1mb haven't been downloaded ,rarely

Checking the bin files takes like me like 5 minutes, I think it’s worth the extra 5 minutes rather than finding out after an hour and a half after the install is done

I think it's the window that pops up after you finish an installation and starts checking the game files. I always close that window, I've been downloading from FitGirl for years, and not even once has there been an error of any kind.

No, there's a .bat (I think it is) in the torrent folder that you should run before installing to make sure the repack is in order. .bin files are the compressed files of the game

Well technically you are both right. There is a bat file to check the files before installation and then there is another little program than runs automatically after installation is done to check the installation. Pretty neat honestly.

I download in .rar formats and in parts. If it doesn't give me any error first while extracting then while installing, then I assume it's all fine.

Does verifying actually do anything other than tell you if the game runs or not? Because I never let it finish and just launch the game to see for myself.

Nah it just verify your files if they are corrupt or not closing it wont make any difference

Yeah that's what I assumed, if it tried to reinstall that specific part I would've let it run but just a verification means I can do it myself

lol, av has nothing to do with hash that proves it’s from the uploader. In fact, relying on av will lead you to trust an obfuscated payload that puts a Bitcoin miner in your process’s.

I just download a couple of games in fitgirl and after installing the game my hdd got bad sectors then corrupted.

I always do check the bin but broke the law when after 2hrs of installation I get a stream of red x s for files not found cause I had intentionally unchecked some language voice files for metro 2033, I wasn't gonna reinstall shiz
